Basics of a lottery strategy
Ion Saliu,I've done a little research on the 649 game that is played here in Ohio and found that all the numbers drawn had been drawn in the previous 23 drawings or less 80% of the time and 80% of those numbers have been drawn 1 to 4 times in the previous 23 drawings. I've started to use those parameters to decrease my pool of numbers to play and when that holds true, my odds are significantly improved. Have you done any similar research to come up with filters and parameters to reduce the size

Question for you math pros...
Loops, I know where you're coming from and I'm a big fan of Ion Saliu.. But using logic as our guide, I think that if you have only 10 possible single outcomes of an dvent and you pick one of them there are still nine possible outcomes available...your odds would be 9-1 on your first pick, 8-1 on your second pick because you have two picks, but only one can come in so one pick is eliminated from the drawing pool. The probability theory says that our odds should be 5 -1 with our second pick.

Ga. Eve. Monday old man’s Zero
Win D I think this type phenomenon deals with FFG (The Fundemental Formula of Gambling.) Numbers do have a repeat cycle according to FFG. In pick 3 it would be about 3 draws. Ion Saliu talks about this at his website. I stumbled on this in my personal lottery study before I read Ion's article. When I read his article it confirmed my belief in what I discovered that certain numbers tend to hover around other certain numbers a majority of the time. It is because of a recycling phase they realign t

A Wheel Question...
When you can show that your winnings are positively correlated with your Lottery IQ and not the number of tickets you purchase, publish your results and become famous. It's obvious you searched the name Ion Saliu AFTER I mentioned I knew who he was in my reply to Dr. San. How many of your lottery kindergarten variety statements do you want me to post that proves the lottery IQ of LP drops several notches every time you post? It's incredible that you would accept the self serving garbage

Anyone up to it?
HypersoniqThat is very very good. There are also 3 approaches, one is SEEING the pick 3 numbers as 1000 single units and having the RNG produce stream(s) of random combos from 000 to 999.The other is having the RNG produce stream(s) of random double digits, (pairs), like 00 to 99Then having the RNG produce streams of random digits from 0 to 9.Also, if there is more than one seed that produces the same random string as that of the last 1 to 5 draws then every one of those seeds must be used, becau

Ion Saliu's "wheel632" - newbie questions
Hi, not sure if this is the right board for such questions, but while searching I've seen Ion responding to posts here, so I'm assuming it would be appropriate :)I've recently started getting into lottery software in general, and specifically I've come across Ion's site. There's a lot of info there, which I'm still digesting, but I've dived in and grabbed the pick632 bundle to experiment with. The documentation is a little sparse, but I've found a lot of my questions answered by searching sali

cold numbers and probability PICK 3/4
ThothBrave and true. I'm so focussed on getting something usefull on my website that I've just been looking lately. But I couldn't resist putting in a word for your Post. This is an area where the inflexible text book fundamentalists just won't attribute any usefullness to looking at the previous history. Sure, they are independent dvents but this does not forbid us from examining it, making the association ourselves and coming up with empirical results and saying the orthodox maths is not in tun

What are strings?
I would prefer to play the trend than the breaker . Once a trend starts to contradict what probability should indicate its difficult to know when it ends. For instance I think the string 34589 is a better play because it has steak of 41 draws but at a higher multi digit hit rate. Randomly select two digits from the string 34589 and 1 digit from 01267 if you want to play the short term trend . You can't beat random but the short term trend is exploitable. Always play the short term trend anyth

Wheels
I read a post on a google page by Ion Saliu showing a positional record wheel and saying that this doesn't hold against a regular x if y wheel. Well, some positional wheels hold. The local lotto pays 5 lines for 3/6. If I get 6/18 from 6/45 in correct positions, I get my payback. With a record wheel, I loose 1 line. Of course unless I get lucky, or happy.
