There's a few more. Foreigners that join the U.S. military and do a combat tour (or maybe even just a hitch) can become citizens if they want to. Israel, Irealnd, and Italy all have programs where anyone proving ethnic ties can go there and become a citizen or dual citizen.

I am all for helping people in crisis. In fact, I contribute 28% of my pay each week to the government so they can do just that on my behalf. I can't see why I should give more on top of that, especially in these days of extremely high housing and gas prices when I need every dollar to prevent my own crisis. If the government chooses to send my money to Iraq and Israel instead of being ready to help those in serious need in the US, I guess the victims will have to lash out against the governmen
