Hello. I'm new and mainly interested in MIFF. Maybe I haven't searched well enough yet, but the only MIFF forum I could find was the one for 2021 and I couldn't post to it. I'm pretty new to posting, so mistakes and a learning curve will probably be noticeable. Sorry Raven62, I don't know which rng the Michigan fantasy five uses. I don't know if it matters anyway cuz the little checking I did on it made me feel like they don't share much information on the integrity of the process on purpose.

I'm not located in Michigan but I can get you started as I have software that has data for Michigan F5. As of today's date #12 has 64 hits in the last 365 drawings, #'s 36 and 38 are tied with 13 hits each for this year and in the month of February #'s 15 and 36 had 8 hits each. All time biggest hitter (6,735 drawings) is #5 with 922 hits. The most useful tip I have for you is that by the end of March, the top hitter of the year usually has approximately 15 hits. It may be a better opportunity to invest into this game when the Jackpot is in Roll Down mode. As in a past example of the family from Michigan, years ago that played these Lotto games that had the Roll Down Feature only played when it was in Roll Down mode and did quite well as some news stories had said. But they invested an enormous amount towards the purchase of tickets. With a game that draws twice a day, seven days a week, I would wonder if the Roll Down applies to Mid Day draw, or

As far as the spread of numbers is concerned, a normal distribution of the numbers (a bell curve if you look at the distribution graphically) happens in all lottery's, including Michigan Fantasy5. I see a bell curve with my software when I display MF5's drawing results graphically. That said, no lottery is as random as experts say it should be. Proof of that is the number of duplicate sets of five numbers that have been drawn. The experts say That should not happen but it routinely happens

Although it sounds to me like you wont be rushing out anytime soon to buy lottery software, here's some info about what it can and cant do for you. There are definitely things that software can tell you to help you win small prizes more often. There are other things that it can tell you that while they're interesting to know, they're useless information. I've been in western North Carolina since last Monday so I haven't paid much attention to FF5. Anyway the real reason I'm posting has nothing to do with the lottery.
