This is interesting. I add the power play option always. Please help me understand the losses from the illustration below. I play every drawing. 3 drawings a week, $3 per drawing for a $9 total per week. There are 52 weeks in a year so that's 52*$9 = $468. If I play constantly for 50 years and the cost is constant - I will have spent 50*$468= $23,400. Let us assume I win the 3rd tier prize once, which is $50,000 that will get multiplied based on the power play number

wpb I only played one ticket with power play last night and had no numbers. That's ok my numbers, I'm keeping in the loop. Feel either 1 or 13 as the mega or powerball number is coming. Yep if it's meant to be it is. I do not play these days no more than 3 maybe 4 tickets if it's high jackpot. I saw people buying 50 to 100 dollars worth on Friday night for that mega. Not me!! Lol. They draw megaplier/power play when the winning numbers are drawn, not a day before. The Power Play multiplier number is chosen at random just before the Powerball winning numbers are drawn. The Megaplier multiplier number is chosen at random by computerized drawing in Texas at around the same time the Mega Millions numbers are drawn in Georgia.

I believe this was definitely a pattern win . I tried to find an example of the CA Fantasy 5 play card online, but could only find a Gimme Five play card picture which has 4 numbers to a row, so that the numbers 7, 11, 15, 19, 23 are lined up in a column. Many players play this way. There were also more 4/5 winners for that drawing because players playing that way probably started with the 3 and played all the 5 number combos down in that column resulting in a couple of 4/5s for 3, 7, 11, 15, 19

Thanks for the reply. You're right. Last time I bought some tickets for the big jackpot and there was a left behind ticket tossed in with mine which had a power play or something. I never pay the extra dollar for those but after turning in a ticket to a clerk that clearly was going to keep it for herself I kept it but was stressed of the headache if I did win with it. Lol!

It's been a long drought. The 15 hit in Powerball in January, and that was after nearly a year. I just need the 15 to hit again Saturday....along with the other 5 numbers. Although, I'll be more than happy just hitting the 1st 5 with the Power Play. Good luck to you!
