In my opinion, Pennsylvania has consistently delivered an excellent raffle structure for the longest of any lottery in the USA. Amen to that Brother! The PA Millionaire Raffle was my fave while I lived in New York State, and I drove an hour (multiple times) over to PA to buy them! Like New Jersey, New York State doesn't offer a raffle and IMHO they are missing the boat big time. We moved to Florida three years ago, but one year previous to our arrival here, The Florida Lottery

Just to add to your comment about JPT's true odds... When I lived in New York, I was located close to The New York Pennsylvania border and I'd go over to PA and buy raffle tickets. In The Fall, PA holds their millionaire raffle which they say carries odds of 125,000 to 1. On paper, that's correct. They sell a maximum of 500,000 raffle tickets and select 4 winners of one million dollars. But I always had trouble with how they advertised the odds. (I bought the tickets anyway because it's stil

I was up in Montana visiting a friend and I grabbed a few raffle tickets from two different stores on my way back to Utah. The lines were long and people were excited. I also picked up some Idaho raffle tickets along the way. But I'm more excited for Montanas drawing. I wish Florida would bring back their Raffle.... Cheers good luck everyone!!

In my opinion, Pennsylvania has consistently delivered an excellent raffle structure for the longest of any lottery in the USA. I really like the weekly early bird drawings that deliver really good prizes, and the main drawing offers a nice spread of cash prizes. Tickets go on sale next week, so I'll be starting my weekly ticket buy. I am frankly mystified as to why New Jersey doesn't offer a raffle every year. On the years they do offer it, their raffle always seems to have a good structure

I have never lived in a state where a RNG is used to select lottery numbers. I lived in New York State close enough to The New York - Pennsylvania border that I did drive over to PA and buy many Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle tickets which uses an RNG. Although I'm not generally in favor of RNG's, I was willing to play The Millionaire Raffle because the odds were so low to win a million bucks (125,000 to 1) that I looked past the fact that an RNG is used to select the winning raffle tic

Louisiana in the past has had a $10 Millionaire Raffle game, but they haven't done it recently. Louisiana is in the First Millionaire of the Year raffle and have posted their list of 19 finalists. They did it on a scratch off that also was part of the Powerball Nascar drawing. Can't wait to see if my state sends someone to NYC!
