I bought a pick 5 ticket with fireball on April 4 evening drawing my numbers were 11111 and the fireball drawn that evening was 1. Which would be a winning ticket with fireball. I took it to district office they said it was not a winner. But I am fighting it because all lottery retailer recognized it as a winner with fireball even the lottery field reps recognized it as. But what about that makes it illegal you are still getting the tickets from a retailer of sorts and I can make the same point as @think Regardless of all that and even tho the sales are up by quite a bit the jackpot keeps growing 1M at a time and I have actually just out of curiosity called the lottery and asked and they couldn't give me an answer as to why this is. Not surprised that a large jackpot winner was sold in a Publix located in Florida. Seems to me like there is a Publix on every corner in Florida with new ones being built everywhere. Publix is the largest lottery retailer in the state, and Florida has the 3rd biggest population in The USA. G5

It's hard, if not impossible, to cancel tickets in Michigan because about 20 years ago cashiers in metro Detroit were printing the tickets and then cancelling them and pocketing the money for themselves.
