The phone scam stuff is even worse than it seems on the surface. The people making the calls or texts are often forced to do so in scam labor camps. Normal non-criminal people in various parts of Asia, mainly China, get lured by fake job ads for tech work. Then they end up in the jungle in Cambodia or Myanmar forced to sit on the phone and try to scam people all day. I doubt online sales will solve the problem of forgotten leading to expired tickets. I have read that some people play online have gotten emails from lottery HQ, telling them that they won but they thought the email was a scam. Also too, there are people that do not bother to check their emails either. There is no guaranteed way to stop the now epidemic of expired lottery tickets.

Classic story of American greed where the victims are never at fault. It's always someone's fault. Scams from this type to entire call centers in India being setup to scam greedy Americans will never stop. The fundamental greed and a belief that we are entitled to get rich quick will always get exploited by others.

you all have to remember the NYL is the cheapest business in NY they take way more from players and give less. so you see how they are making a BIG profit from players losing over and over from Repeats thats there way of running there business not smart at all 100% scam and they will fool players into this with there fancy ads to get them to lose more and more.
