New sight validation codes
http://www.palottery.state.pa.us/lottery/cwp/view.asp?a=3 Q=479857 PM=1 Looks like all the cheaters now have to scratch the whole ticket. I personally get sick of seeing all the tickets with just the top or bottom scratched off.

What happens if you forgot where you bought your jackpot ticket.
I haven't played scratch offs in a really really long time, but here in MO the store that sold the ticket use to put stamps on the back where you sign them stating the name of the store. They may not do that anymore. Use to be you could only return a winner to the store you bought it from. That has changed. As far as online tickets (p3, p4) they have store codes on the bottom. That never changes. If you want to know what store you bought one in. Go to all the stores you visit and ask them to pri

Charlotte wants limits on N.C. lottery sales
He also asked that lottery outlets be at least 50 feet from a church or school. He said the city believes the most crucial factor is that stores be required to sell more than just tickets and alcohol, with at least half of sales coming from other items. Well then they should sell them in adult video stores....because those aren't allowed anywhere near Churches Schools. (I'm being sarcastic)But I do agree with SOME of the rules that they want: When choosing lottery outlets, Charlotte offici

10,000 scratch tickets flawed?
I live in MA and find $10 scratch tickets appalling, losing $10 at once is too much for my tastes. But now I'll be looking carefully at the ones I find in the trash and having the bar codes of any unreadable tickets scanned...Any large, unclaimed prizes in this game should be seen as evidence of lottery fraud. It means that returned books of tickets with big prizes were not reprinted and put back into circulation. All losers should get refunds because they did not have a fair chance at all majo

How To Determine Winning Scratch-Off Lotto Tickets – Texas
First - HELLO! - I am new here, but I've been watching for a while. Briefly, this is about Scratch-Off Tickets in Texas. G-Tech is the company that makes the Texas tickets. This is about the Scratch Off tickets only. I've joined because I have (through MUCH effort and examination of my winning AND losing tickets) found a reason for all the information on the back of SO's. One day, I thought - what are all these numbers and I noticed subtle similarities with the Jackpot winners. I was really amaz

Letter Validation Codes on Tickets ? Are they ALWAYS correct ?
Sure does make one wonder. In PA the Q, P, Z, B, K, J are losers....some people scratch off enough to reveal a letter - if a loser, they toss it w/o playing the game at all. I felt bad for the people that didn't know this when PA changed the method of identifying winners. Used to be parenthesis were used with the winning dollar amount inside them. When they changed to letter codes, some people were still using the long line of numbers to identify their winners....I wonder how many were

UK woman claims she won £1 million lottery prize, Camelot says its £10
Camelot argued, their computer system had experienced a technical issue between August 25 and 26, 2015 But after knowing that the game still continued. Had a problem with the KY Lottery not crediting my account and they fixed the problem withing five minutes. And they suggested making screen shot of any large winnings. Much different than visible scratch-off ticket mistakes because bar codes determine if a ticket is a winner. The thing is even if the judge rules in favor of Joan Parker
