Don't know enough about sports betting, but somehow that came before the SCOTUS if memory serves me. And now 38 states have it. You can bet on games played out of state, that much I know. News this week said $35 Billion will be spent on FOOTBALL ALONE this year--sports betting that is. With all the do nothing politicians guess the proposal to raise The $1200 threshold o

Rhode Island university president forgot about $1 million Mega Millions lottery ticket in a drawer
More states don't than do offer on-line purchases of lottery tickets. Luckily I'm in one that does, however it seems like I buy more in the store than ever. With SCOTUS decision (I think) about sports betting, it gives me hope that the antiquated 1961 law prohibiting certain things across state lines. Heck how many lotteries existed then? It would be wonderful if I could exercise my First Amendment rights to purchase say California lottery either over the phone or Internet. IDK why MA go

One vote made the difference in the Alabama legislative session, resulting in voters just barely missing out on seeing a lottery question on the ballot this year. The last time Alabama residents saw a lottery proposal in the voting booth was in

Skill games remain banned in Kentucky after judge dismisses lawsuit
The slot machines at Red Mile and Turfway Park are no longer based on historical races thought a few of the older machines still have the disclaimer. Red Mile has a huge off track betting area and just opened a sports book. Almost all the horse racing bets are based on $2 bets though you can bet $1 a bet on multiple bets like with exacta and trifecta box wagers. Never saw at any track where players could wager just one buck. The Federal tax codes are based on winning more than $600 on $1 be
