Theft on Cortelyou Rd!!
The lottery store on Courtelyou rd in Brooklyn NY is stealing tickets from elderly people. I went to the store this morning with a $609 cash ticket with 10 times 10 ticket and the agent scanned it and gave me $40. That's theft so there needs to be an investigation. Thank you !!

Prime ticket service
I have never reported idenity theft, I didn't sign up for anything. I think there are tougher laws now concerning identity theft. For years banks did not have a system in place to protect consumers. The government made them do it. They didn't want to do it and didn't care. When you were a victim of identity theft in the past, you were treated like a criminal and was looped into a black hole. There are written actions to take if it happens now. I think everyone should know the actions to ta

Weird stories of Lottery Clerks stealing from their Employers? :/
A guy said he owned a Convenience Store that sold Lottery Tickets. Two of his Employees stole a bunch of scratch off tickets from his store and when he confronted them, they told him they would pay him back from the Winnings the tickets won. He acted like he wasn't all that mad and told them to sign a paper promising to pay him back with the stolen scratch off ticket Winnings. The IDIOTS signed that paper with NO HESITATION. They had no idea they signed a Confession of Theft that could be used a

Setting a trust for anonymity: how does it work?
this is a good topic because i was curious about if trusts are insured like bank accounts and if you can set one up online without having to hire a lawyer so todds link answered most of my questions because i know most bank accounts only are insured by FDIC for up to 100K so i know alot of people have to have other places to put large amounts of money like lottery jackpots and make sure they are insured for most of the value just in case there is id theft or some other theft of some of the money

Stalking & Identity Theft:U.R. at RISK !!
Most State Lotteries (except DE, maybe others) have Open Records laws or FOI laws COMPELLING winners to participate in the Media Circus that follows a big strike. Lotteries claim it is necessary to preserve the integrity of the games. I see it as the best way to further the lottery's PROMOTIONAL AGENDA by FORCING the winner to pose in front of the media with a big cardboard check and the director. I doubt the winner realizes the risk to his/her personal safety and that of their family's in

Have you ever picked up discarded lottery tickets hoping you got an overlooked winner?
I do think this is innate with some people. I remember as a very little girl seeing a dollar bill on the floor on the way out of a grocery store. I did not pick it up since it was not mine but watched someone behind me scoop it up and I knew it was not their money. Now if it was $20 or more I would turn it in to see if the owner could be found. I picked up a few pick 3 tickets off the ground recently that I assumed someone had dropped. Did not see anyone around to ask, went home and checked them

Should tax payers be paid back after a win
The question implies that the taxpayers would see a cent of this returned money. It should never have been taken to begin with. An involuntary fee, tax, or whatever-new-name-it's-given is not assistance, it's theft. It's theft if I steal your grandchild's new bicycle and give it to some kid down the street who N E E D S it more. It's theft if the gov't takes your money in the form of higher property taxes, converts (ahem ... conversion) it into a welfare check, and gives the check to someo

What lottery game?
I don't pay scratch off mainly because I never win, and secondly there seems to be a lot of theft of winnings on scratch off tickets from the store clerks.
