Information Theory and Lotto
This reminds me of the book Lottery Numbers Past, Present and Future by Harry Schneider. He talks about the lines being divisible by different numbers. In most of his examples he uses the UK National Lottery.

Do you play an overseas lottery?
I still play the UK national lottery. I played when I lived in London and continued to play by subscription after I moved to Australia. I have not won any big prizes yet, but I regularly win 5 and 10 pound prizes. If I win a big prize I'll let you know.

Are you overseas British?
You can still play the UK National Lottery, if you have a UK address. You can also pay your subscription by direct debit, if you have a UK bank account. The lottery will also credit winning to you bank account. It`s a bit of fun and you are helping good causes.

Do you play an out-of-state lottery?
I play the UK National Lottery by subscription. You need a UK address to play the UK Lottery. I haven't won anything big yet, but I have won several small prizes, from 10, and 15 pounds and one for 65 pounds. I like the fact that I can pay by direst debit, you do need a UK bank account to do that, and any prizes are credited back to same bank account. It is a very professionally run operation.

Lotto Betting Bookmakers
I would like to discuss about lotto betting bookies. Which one of them gives the best odds for matching 1,2,3,4, ... numbers and how to beat them.I found one bookie which can be beaten with some good lottery software. They offer 8/1 odds for matching single number at UK National Lottery and 72/1 for matching doublet. Does someone knows for better odds?

Syndicates
Quote: Originally posted by Paid 2 Lotto on February 26, 2004 I've read somewhere that 1/3 of all Jackpot winners in UK national lottery were syndicates. I've read somewhere that foreign syndicates give the illusion of a greater chance to wins a lottery by pretending to buy large pools of tickets but are not legally bound by local US courts to do anything, even buy tickets. At best a player have no idea of the number of players assigned to one ticket.RJOh

Take the Lump sum...not Annuity!
Jazzy:Fleetwood Mac spelled _what_ with a Y ?Of course, Fleetwood Mac is/was part British-hence the name Rumours .To keep the lottery theme, if Rhiannon hit the UK National Lottery, she needn't worry; all their prizes are LUMP SUM.
