Annuity or Lump Sum?
Thanks for the reply. It's an interesting dicsussion! I'm starting my first full time job this July and I've been doing alot of reading up on retirement investing and the financial services industry. And it seems that it's hard to find a fiduciary (someone who is legally obligated to look out for your best interests instead of their own) who can really do well with your money. I agree that if you know exactly what you're doing you can be doing very welll and definitely beat the annuity.

Lotto Max/Lotto 649 Rigged?
I've searched lots of forums to see what people think of Lotto Max and Lotto 649 being rigged. I have found something interesting. I began having suspicions when I noticed for mega jackpots there would be long periods of no winners, while at the same time sales spiked substantially. Mathematically, the number of plays exceeds the odds, so the probability of a winner greatly exceeds the stated odds. Example: if someone plays one board in Lotto MAX, they get 2 additional draws as a b

Winners of at least $1,000
This type of venture needs to be handled strictly on an individual basis...the individual being YOU. With thousands of scam artists out there, I think you've just made yourself vulnerable to the possibility of being contacted by people who care nothing about you and what you want. Instants.. If you're looking for a grand prize remember this...there are millions of tickets printed for any one game. More of them if they extended the game. They supposedly increase the prizes with ext

Lucky lottery lady outed as Stanford University statistics PhD
She was called the luckiest woman in the world. But now that luck is being called into question by some who think that winning the lottery four times is more than just a coincidental spell of good fortune. Joan R. Ginther, 63, from Texas, won multiple million dollar payouts each time. First, she won $5.4 million, then a decade later, she won $2 million, then two years later $3 million and finally, in the spring of 2008, she hit a $10 million jackpot. The odds of this has been calcula

Playing same lottery numbers for 15 years paid off
On a hunch, bought multiple tickets with same numbers The five numbers Chris Hoffman played in the Maryland lottery for 15 years never meant anything special to him until he won. Hoffman said they were just random numbers he chose: 3, 6, 9, 20, 21. He's not even sure why. They're numbers I picked years ago and just stuck with them, he said Monday, three days after his wallet got a little bit thicker. Hoffman bought a $6 Bonus Match Five ticket from Ranch Liquor at Lusby Town Square

Florida Fantasy 5 Number Strategy
C'mon man are you telling me you have not won the thing at least once with all that fancy computer stuff you presented? Tell the truth, you have been a single winner at least once and a multiple winner at least once, right? You have to be to be kept happy like you said. God I hate it when the 4/5 pays a whopping $93.00 like it did tonight. Speaking of tonight 12 winners, good God, wow they each get about $20k. Actually in my case, It aint no biggy. It aint no money just enough to keep m

Supercomputers & the lotto....Part2..
There is no question in my mind whatsoever that if I could spend $360 per drawing, I would snag a pick-5 within 4-6 months, but I only allow myself $10 and do what I think is right. you could probably do it with 156 tickets. if you chose the 2 digits that repeat from month to month and wheel the rest. 'The weakest link as always will be the human programming the machine. ' can't argue that point many times it has much to do with what you imput. And that is the STRONGEST lin

Agent provacateurs
I am definitely going to weigh in here as this subject hits very close to home. First, I am a dedicated lottery player and have played steady for about 11 years. Having studied on how to catch numbers using my methods that I have described in full and at some distance with four4me. I was able to find a solution in how to win the little lotto jackpots twice in the year 2000. I also have won many, many little prizes everyday with 3of 5 and 4 of 5 multiple times. Those payouts on a daily
