Wyoming lottery backers try again
Legislators will have another chance to pass a state lottery bill in the weeks ahead. The new proposal is modeled after the 15-year-old Georgia lottery. The 2009 version is different in many respects from previous bills that failed to get through the Wyoming Legislature. For one thing, the proposal would direct $11 million or $12 million to the Hathaway Scholarship Permanent Trust. It also would set up a separate entity, a business corporation, to run the lottery and would not require any

Thinking of going off the grid after winning the lottery? Not so fast
You need to add Wyoming to your list of states that you may conceal your identity. This has been so since July 1, 2013 when Wyoming joined the lotterysphere. All the news outlets also get this wrong probably because they get their info from your site. Please update the Lottery Post data base.

Wyoming would tap lottery money under proposed bill
It truly is a sad state of affairs when our elected officials CAN'T leave the lottery alone. Unfortunately, this is not a Wyoming issue either. Every now and then we have our few here in Texas that also start wanting to screw with our lottery system as well, but they don't have the measures to offset the revenue it generates for education. I feel for ya Wyoming residents.. stay strong

Multi-state lottery game coming to Wyoming
I think that has something to do with the law in Wyoming. In order to start a lottery there, they had to only offer certain games. Maybe it's changed since then, but that's how it started. I believe that is included in one or more of the news stories posted at Lottery Post when the Wyoming Lottery was being created.

Powerball renews interest in Mississippi state lottery
I think it is Wyoming you are speaking of and I believe it began in 2013. Utah citizens are buying in Wyoming so it is affecting Idaho sales. Other than that not sure how they are doing.
