Judge: Wyoming Lottery lawsuit against man can continue
What would you call the Wyoming Lottery Corporation pressing charges against Edward Atchison seeking to force him to stop criticizing the Wyoming Lottery Corporation to national lottery groups and other media? I would call it demonizing!

New national lottery with a twist
Suppose that California (population 38.8 million) sells 4 million tickets, and that Wyoming (population 584,000) sells 60 thousand tickets. Someone who bought a California ticket has a 1 in 200,000,000 chance of winning the jackpot, while someone with a Wyoming ticket has a 1 in 3,000,000 chance.

Wyoming Lottery to start its first in-state game in March
The Wyoming lottery isn't allowed by law to sell scratchers. Ludicrous! Some state lotteries derive about 60% of their gross income from scratchers, and they're enormously popular with the players. Swing and a miss for the Wyoming legislature!

Wyoming Lottery kicks off media blitz
As of 2012, Wyoming's population was 576,412. Wow, some of the smallest mid sized cities in America have a bigger population then that of the entire state of Wyoming. I don't know how they are going to be able to make the lottery work there. I wonder how much research did Wyoming put into this before deciding to go ahead with it?

Tenn. lottery chief offers advice to fledgling Wyoming Lottery
Zero mistake business is indeed the scariest part of her advice since the Wyoming Lottery Corporation is just starting there will be ups and downs. They really need the best advisers to guide them to make good decisions. Hopefully the people from Wyoming will support their own state lottery.

Wyoming officially becomes 44th state with a lottery
Wyoming lottery supporters have finally struck the jackpot.

The legislation will create a quasi-government corporation that will be charged with establishing a state lottery or, more likely, joining a multi-state game, such as Powerball.
The proposal narrowly passed the Legislature last month. It then faced the threat of a veto from Mead, who ha

Final Wyoming Senate vote on lottery bill coming Friday
yeah right! the lottery causes divorce and crimes...lol....that is just a myth the people against a lottery always use to say it is bad...also the one where if Wyoming were to get a lottery the poor people would be spending all their money on it....studies have shown poor people are most likely to spend their money on scratch tickets since they want the instant win not the jackpot wins where they have to wait until the drawing and the Wyoming Lottery Bill does not allow for instant games, scratc

Wyoming House gives preliminary OK to lottery bill
Lawmakers are frigging idiots. If people want to gamble, they're gonna gamble regardless of the law. People in Wyoming already drive south into Colorado to buy their tickets. This can only help the state of Wyoming.
