Let's do a Lottery Tin Hat Shed
The only thing I really believe is that the lotteries are making more money off of the players. Many people I know have quit playing P3/P4 or they play very little (less than $5.00) per draw. However, since they are not winning at P3/P4, many of them play more scratchers which in turn also enriches the lottery's coffers. Some of the lottery results make absolutely no sense whatsoever. I also believe that they are looking at what folks are betting on and always they want to bring the lowest payin

i won last year... what will my tax return look like?
It depends on how much losses you incurred winning that jackpot. You can deduct losses up to the amount you won but however, you should be cautious and only put what you actually spent for the whole year. You won in Feb so you can only claim losses for Jan 2011 and the first part of Feb. You might not get any back.

Ky Lottery 3 Line Lotto Ending
The Ky 3 line lotto game only has 4 more drawings and then if the jackpot is not won, they will have a kind of like raffle to distribute the first prize money. I saw the promotion under the fun club but I can't see anywhere else to input my ticket numbers. When you buy tickets for all of the last draws, a ticket with a number is generated for you and you can input that number online somehow. Is anyone else doing this? I think they will give away about 100 prizes.

Can I Write My Lottery Losing Tickets Off If I Have Saved Them During The Year?
If they generated you a tax form..might be 1099 or something like that then you have to file. They don't do it unless you win over a certain amount all at one time. Say for instance you hit the P4 for 5,000.00 then you would have to file. the papers that you fill out to get the money are used to generate your taxes owed document. So if you didn't fill out any papers..I wouldn't worry about it.

US coming around? Softens stance on internet betting..
google it. But you can't post the article on here. I was always under the impression that the ban did not cover P3 or P4 (lottery games) I guess it doesn't. only sportsgames (betting.)

Retailers don't have to pay you for a winning scratch off
That was everywhere in Ky and it drove all of the players crazy. they even did it for P3 , P4 and any other games. It was as if they were protecting their money. If you won on P3, you HAD to take your ticket to the place that sold it to you. I am not kidding..they even checked the numbers on the tickets to make sure they were from their stores!! It was A CRAZY TIME!!
