Hey Warren, what's my number? he asked store owner Warren Liles, who stood behind the counter.
315, Liles replied.
Auther, who plays the lottery every day, said he won't be logging onto a computer to buy tickets as the N.C. Education Lottery launches an online subscription service Thursday. He enjo

Michigan will sell lottery tickets and offer games online in a year's time after two companies were chosen Monday to run an iLottery billed as a way to help fund public schools and keep the lottery relevant.
The decision came five months after lottery officials indefinitely halted their plans because lawmakers rejected Gov. Rick Snyder's funding request to launch the online lottery. Legislators, however, did not prohibit the Lottery Bureau from spending existing money in its budget to offer I

Margolis has reintroduced a proposal (SB 98) for the 2014 session that would allow the Florida Lottery to create a program so anyone 18 or older could purchase lottery tickets online.

Michigan Lottery puts Internet ticket sales on hold
The Michigan Lottery is indefinitely halting plans to sell tickets and offer games on the Internet after skeptical lawmakers blocked funding to launch an online lottery in early 2014.
Plans for an iLottery system have been suspended so that the Lottery may further evaluate the program, lottery spokeswoman Andi Brancato told The Associated Press Tuesday, declining further comment.

Ohio legislators move to ban Internet lottery sales
While country moves forward, Ohio may move backwards
The Ohio Lottery has not joined the move to sell tickets directly to players on the Internet, and a provision in a state budget bill would make sure it doesn't.
The bill, which has passed the House and gone to the Senate, would prohibit Ohio from following the lead of states that already let players buy tickets via their computers and handheld devices.
Online sales could help lotteries attract younger customers and compete with more g

Lounging on the couch at home playing Keno and buying lottery tickets on your iPhone or computer doesn't sit well with some West Michigan lawmakers.

A new game system called iLottery would begin offering online sales of single tickets and insta
