$100,000 Virginia lottery prize expires today
A lucky winner stands to net $207 million in Friday's Mega Millions lottery draw, but someone in Hampton, Virginia, faces losing $100,000. The Georgia Lottery began a new promotion of its Fantasy 5 game Friday, increasing players' chances to win the Pick 5-style lotto game. The Pennsylvania Lottery's latest game is the 5-digit numbers game, Quinto, offering 13 ways to play and win up to $50,000 cash. Drawings will be held both at midday and evening, seven days a week. A lawsuit claims the New York State Division of Lottery is tricking people into playing its Take Five lottery game by exaggerating the likelihood of winning.
