miss bee, this was in texas. i watched them check pack value more than 100 times, so theres no mistake about it
one of the options on the menu was pack value , and you would have to put your ss# in to do this, which verified you had authority in that store on that machine.
the other options needed not a ss#
i think this was what actually caught my attention. i was waiting for her to hurry up so i could buy my damned tickets, and while stocking kools and camels, i startd to say something smart to her when i caught her puttting in her ss#, and i asked myself,"why the heck is she doing that for", cause, i didnt need a number to do my routine
on the machine, so, i kept quiet and watched , and to my horror, i saw for the first time the pack value function listed, where, it wasnt listed in the basic menu, so i almost opened my mouth .but i managed to keep it shut again, and to my reward, she pulled apack of 5 dollar scratch offs out from onder the machine, and scanned it for pack value.
and i says to myself, "huh?"
i would then notice that each time someone was about to check for pack value, this was when they would suddenly find something for me to do, like stock cigarretes, or something that wasnt my job. my choores were done, as usual.
sometimes they would wait till i sat down and ate on break to do their own little routine on the machine.
any more questions? i have a very good memory
