James Randi has over and over again shown how a big fraud Uri Geller is.

It's incredible people still believe this guy is capable of anything.

Point taken, Millions, but how do you explain the different experiments of persons physically reacting to an dvent displayed to them before it happens?  (The polygraph and ESP tests for example?  The four hours before 9/11 and the 12 hours before the tsunami?  The reactions recorded on all of these 40+ different RNG's combined and correllated together?).

BTW this is not a new thing...the results came out immediately after 9/11.  People fear being called weird and scientists most of all.  So you don't hear much about it in the mainstream news but with the tsunami effects recorded 12 hours before the dvent that killed almost a quater million people, maybe there is something to this?

And you are 100% right...so far it only can tell us that something is going to happen but when and where are the questions remaining unanswered at this point.  But I like the direction of the Global Consciousness Study and one day, maybe not in our lifetimes, we may be able to harness this inexplicable phenomenon.

Personally, I've been waiting for science to latch onto this....been believing it for decades (and that is a story that is much too long to go into here LOL) -- but I do ...and it's just IMHO, think that this may be finally a step in the direction of us all realizing what we really are...and its not what we have been led to believe we really are for the last thousand years by the Powers That Be. (as they said....The Truth is Out There)

I have felt for some time now that the lottery balls that are drawn are influenced to come up due to collective consciousness.  I wish I could find out a ratio between the numbers that were purchased most often on tickets vs. those numbers that are drawn most often, which are recorded.  I would "bet money" that there is a correlation .... come to think of it, I DO BET MONEY ON THEM!  lol

I finally got the article to open up.  Rick, thanks so much for posting it.  FASCINATING!!!!!  And super thought provoking!!!!  Think of the implications for us as humans, and for our lottery games!  And yeah, if this news gets out to the masses .... so much for our lottery games!  lol

If the Seth books are accurate then perhaps we do create our own realities as individuals and as mass consciousness, and thus we would KNOW in advance what is going to happen b/c we, on some level, created it.  I know I'm sure to stir up controversy by mentioning Seth, however, we ARE on a MYSTICAL discussion board! And Seth is certainly "mystical."

After the Tsunami, I was motivated to read yet another Seth book called "The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events."  Even though it was channeled back in the 70's it totally applied to this "mass dvent" of December.

And I have to agree that in some ways, if we humans do tap into our full power, that could be a frightening thing due to all the violence on this plane.  Hopefully it will only be extended to the most enlightened ones?  But, somehow I doubt it... that might be where that discussion of "free will" enters in.

LFT, I agree with the "free will".  I truly believe that the free wills applied to good greatly outnumber the free wills that apply themselves to evil...otherwise I don't think we would be here right now.

                    Interesting reading there,  (and here).

I like the mass thought creating dvents theory, and Rick has made great points.

Here is a thought.  Could Disaster movies actually bring about tsunamis and asteroids heading towards earth etc.

"The day after tomorrow" was a recent hit featuring a tsunami hitting new york.

                    Also

Edgar Cayce has had family members become well off (Hugh Lynn Cayce) from book publications and donations to the Edgar Cayce foundation.  His readings are fascinating.  He says that we are living on the third plane of existence, and we shall be reincarnated until we are ready for our next plane.  Apparently there are 8 or nine.

I have not heard of Muon (spell'd o.k. ??) or some other sub atomic particles, but I also believe science will one day measure thought waves.

Based on everything in this thread what we need is something that could amplify our thoughts to make them powerful enough to make changes in the world and in our cases lotto numbers.  I would love to here of a thought amplifier being invented and would have every make and model, but the closest amplifier I have found so far is faith.  If you can make yourself believe a mountain will move, I believe it will move.  But how do you make yourself believe something seemingly impossible.  That's the hard part.  affirmations repeated, visualizations, etc may be our best invention so far in this regards.

Maybe crystals help? maybe, maybe, maybe.  It would be nice to be able to amplify your thoughts with a machine though.

Thanks for the interesting thread and website address

Kwhilborn,  You would LOVE the Seth books!!!  I'm currently reading "The Individual and the Nature of Mass REality".  I have read most of the Seth books, channeled information based on what you just said above, that our thoughts and beliefs create our realities.  However, there is also the aspect of mass consciousness and beliefs that affect things.  I bought this Seth book just because of wanting to understand the Tsunami on the level of how possibly humans CREATED it!  And this book is profound!  I would love to hear your thoughts on it!  In this book he deals alot with how we create all sorts of weather systems and storms.  He goes into great detail.  And I was surprised to see that when major catastrophes happen in whatever area, they are usually POLITICALLY inspired.  Will try to put another post on later about this subject, it's early and I shouldn't even be awake yet!

To find Seth books look under author  Jane Roberts because she is who channeled Seth.

Good to see there's a splinter-group of this site taking an openly metaphysical view of things.  Lottery players can deny they believe in such things, they can consult their statistics, run their expensive software, but in the end, if there's not a metaphysical angle, if those numbers are simply random, the odds against winning make the lottery the stupidest possible form of gambling because of the lousy odds.

Putting a lot of roll-over, statistical pseudo-scientific terminology into the equation doesn't change things.  Good luck is a metaphysical concept.  If those pingpong balls were doing what those materialistic universe planners of it tried to make it the odds would be entirely fresh every draw.  Every number would stand an equal chance of hitting.  And we'd be seeing something entirely different than what we are actually observing.

Having said that, I'll also say I've never had any luck influencing the outcomes of any lottery using metaphysical energy.  I'm not convinced it can be done.  But I certainly wouldn't exclude the possibility simply because I haven't figured out how to do it.  And there's also the entirely separate metaphysical issue of prediction, which every person who studies the numbers and writes programs for prediction has to secretly believe, even though he calls it something else and shrouds it in scientific language.

Metaphysical Experiments You Can Do Yourself is a reading list on Amazon you might find helpful if you aren't entirely settled on the question of whether this universe is exactly as we see it with our eyes, or whether it might be something more.

                          Good luck, all us weirdos.
