Most systems out there share the same ideas. Gail Howard's Advantage plus is pretty similar to Lotto Pro. Except lotto pro doest cost as much. When you have hundreds of people using a system they are dventually going to get lucky and win. And that is what these creators wait for then, they cash in on other people success and use it to promote their product.

With $200/wk to waste, you probably could win something with any system you use, even QP's.  If you win the jackpot, you will have something to brag about.  Good luck to you and your co-workers.

hi everyone, i just recently purchased GH's software, i can imagine it does take time to master the advantage plus manual to learn about all the charts. i will give it my best shot. i have a pool at work and 200 bucks to work with every week, i really have to decide which wheel would be best for the mega millions. take care all.

      Tom,

Check out an excellent wheel to use with Mega Millions in the Pick 5 Wheels page here at Lottery Post.  Near the bottom of the page, there is an abbreviated wheel that uses all 52 numbers, you play 40 lines, and you're guaranteed at least a 2+0 hit.  If you use a different Mega Ball number for each ticket, you also have an 80% chance of hitting at least a 0+1.

I personally have been using that wheel for the last several draws, and I have come very close to winning.

For example, on the last draw (for $112 million), the numbers were 01-08-18-39-48 +01, and one of my tickets was 04-08-18-38-40 +50.  As you can see, I had only a 2+0 on that ticket, but check out how close the other numbers were (they were all the right decades).

When looking for a good Mega Millions wheel (or a wheel for any 5+1 game), always look for Pick 5 wheels.  There is no wheeling systems for the Bonus numbers, just use whatever method you like best.

HEY GAIL what about a WINDOWS based program???? I hate DOS, I got to tell you if I knew before I purchased it was DOS I would of not....

Does her DOS programs still have a (.BAS) extension on them?  About 25 years ago, some one gave me a 5" disk with one of her programs written in Basic and saved using the protect feature.  I read an article in BYTE magazine and figured out how to list the program.  When I saw how simple it was written with no special logic, I decided to start writing my own lottery programs.  I'm still writing my programs in GWBasic, but I'm not trying to sell them.  I'm surprised that she can still find a market for DOS program these days.

          (.slh) extension

Yea I agree... I wished I would of ask... There is no where on her site that it says this is a MS-DOS program, and come on lets face it we are in a windows world so I never ask... Like I said in above post I HATE DOS...

Plus I have not had any luck with her program... Just last night on RC5 I ran 4 wheels with her program and none were even close, IF I Played 150 plays I would of had 5 $1 winners... all 04 and 35, but I will keep running it and TESTING...

I have CoverMaster too and when I set it to generate a 4if5/18 wheel with the optimizer on, it comes up with 277 lines.  If I set it for a 3if5/18 wheel, it comes up with 25 lines.  CalifDude must know something that nt22 and I don't.

It does not matter to me that Gail Howard's program is DOS and not Windows based.

The key is HOW you use her (or anyone else's) software.  In other words, when using software you have to THINK!  I suspect some of us just want to click here click there and be "led" to the "magic" numbers.  It does not work like that.

You have to study trends, patterns, likelihoods or probabilities.  A Windows based program will not substitute for the hard work of THINKING and ANALYZING.

As for her wheels or anybody else's, wheels are much less important to me than are the methods by which I select my numbers, based on those aforementioned trends, patterns, probabilities.

                  DOS doesn't bother me either.

I run my old DOS programs in a DOS Command Window and my Window programs at the same time with out ever leaving Windows.  When I click on a short-cut for my DOS programs, they pop up and run like any other program in the menu, just in a DOS window.

In the start menu there is a Command Prompt, click it and a Window will pop up with the DOS prompt. Then you just do what you do when you're in DOS. - CD to Gail's program and run it. Once you know where the EXE program is, you can create a short-cut to it on your Desktop.

That should be no problem. Before I open A+, I update by clicking Lottery Updater on my desktop. It updates all draws/all games for us every Monday morning.

If I wanna update it myself before Monday, I just write the winning #'s on paper, then open A+.
