wouldn't it be nice if sometime in the future we were able to bet online legally for any state and the money went to that state and everyone was able to do this?

although some states might be resistant at first thinking that this would cut into their slice of the pie.....

It would be good for some states, and bad for others. If people had their choice of any lottery, they would choose the one with the best games. And corrupt lotteries like IN would see a chunk of their player going to the computer to play in FL or some other state.

Don't forget the Mass and NY lotteries are corrupt too.

That'd be great! ... especially for the elderly/disabled players.

I wouldn't agree that is a good idea, because

as it stands now you can play online for most

lotteries and collect tax free.  However, if it

became a legal entity to play online, then many states

would want to get a tax payment from your winnings,

even if you are playing outside your home state.  I am

sure IL for one would want to collect taxes.

That's rediculous. They have enough money for a game show, but try to get them to draw live with ball machines and they act like it's soooooo expensive. Sign of corruption yet again!

Oh I'd love that!  Then I'd get to play Lotto South, Super Lotto Plus, that 25 game in WV, and IL Lotto and Little Lotto.

If that would happen I do have a question.  Would u actually pick the state u wanna play mega millions or powerball in or would u just be able to play on their website?

We can play pick 3 and 4 online now, but I would like to also be able to play any other lottery games from any state.

                            AP:

WV 25 and IL Little Lotto are lump-sum.

Oh Cash Only that's fine.  I'm not staunch AP like u are with cash.  I'll play any game if I like it =)

                              Even I wouldn't take annual payments for a $25k or $100k prize.
