Quick Draw has a 60% prize payout. In NY, that's better than all games except for Scratch games.

Quick Draw is the best game in New York. Best odds (with the 4 spot play), and the best payouts.

Thanx for the tidbit. I was wondering which play is best.

If I had to go with one that exists now it would be Powerball.

But if I had my druthers I'd rather see a new one launched in NM..... something run by the mob, one of the tribes, or some religious institution.  Something they draw out of a big, clear drum and look surprised when they see who wins.

It's kinda satisfying to see a priest, a rabbi, a preacher or tribal governor better himself.  Or at least know the money's helping to keep organized crime a growth industry in these hard times.

We've actually had two tribal casino jackpots won by the Mescalero guv, and one by the Isleta guv.

I bought a $50 raffle ticket for an Abq Synagogue drawing for a Jeep Cherokee a few years ago.... but the rabbi won.

Happened on to a celebration at a Catholic Church in Cuba, NM, one time where they were giving away a car, bought a handfull of tickets, but the daughter of the lady who reached into the bucket to draw out the winning ticket won.  While a priest and a nun looked over her shoulder.  Shuld'a heard her shriek with joy and amazement.

This country needs more of that sort of thing  on a far larger scale.

But I suppose I'll have to pick PB and let all the money go off to the more populous states.

I like Scratch offs.  Lotto 5 isn't bad either but scratch offs are fun.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

I'm not too crazy about NY scratches because some are annuity-only.

They need to add more draws to Lotto 5.  I think it should be Mon-Sat.  I see this in the near future.

I'd choose Cash 5 then Pick 4.  I like the ability to get twice as many tickets by using 50 cents or four times as many with 25 cents.  The only thing I don't like about the Virginia game is that the jackpot doesn't increase if the top prize is unclaimed.  A good lottery state would have a good selection of games where the top prize varies from $ 1000, $ 5000, $ 10,000, $ 50,000, $ 100,000, $ 250,000, $ 500,000, $ 1 million and up.  Pennsylvania and Maryland seem to have a decent number of games from $ 100,000 and higher.

If CA had to pick one game, it would be California SLP.
