It seems to me that the real solution to what is being discussed is to look at the stats for the person that is a top predictor and check for your state.  It doesn't matter if he posts 50 numbers for each state using all states or however he/she does it.  The stats will show the true results.  As I pointed out earlier, I don't normally post for all states, but I'm going to try it.  I spent quite a bit of time (using the Deflator 3) getting the top hitting numbers for all states.  I have a list of the Top 20 for Pick 3 and the Top 15 for Pick 4.  My thought was that I have seen (we all have) numbers "move" from state to state.  If there happens to be 20 numbers that are hitting the most, I thought they might produce good results.  Today is the first day I have tried it, so maybe it won't work, but I wanted to try.  Of course, I have posted using the "All States" feature and you can disregard my posts when looking at a particular state, but the stats will reveal if I'm doing well or not.

when you are looking at all states prediction page you can accces people who have only posted for your particular state by clicking the box at the top left hand corner of the pages header marked

    Hide All States Picks

If the poster has only posted for individual states you will see his or her picks only. To create a seperate data base for stastics just to isolate people who post only for one state at a time would require a seperate data base.

many days when i have checked this box for different states i found there were very few people who posted for one particular state at a time. One reason for this is the time involved in posting for each individual state. The other reason might be that posters who post for all states do so because they are confident that their posted numbers are going to hit somewhere regardless of which state they have posted for.

the main function of the prediction pages is to use it as a tool for finding picks to play based on your states number history for example if i see a posters numbers that match any of my states history i might write those numbers down and play a few of them sometimes. If you use the prediction pages as a guide to steer you in the direction of a number to play then you have discoverd the method that works best. There are posters who post for all states that are doing an outstanding job of predicting numbers that hit on a regular basis.

       bryan:

as i stated originaly, i do like the idea and i did'nt take it offensively as to what was being presented, or said. everyone is different and has their own style of predicting "all state" predicting is actually no different than "individual" predicting, providing  the person has done their homework.! there is no reason to opologize for that is your opinion, and i respect it as such. i was just expressing how i felt on the other side...

it would be a good idea though to see who is the top predictor for a individual state along with the other predictors...

I just did a check on predictions for California for today.  Looking at Pick 3 only there are 35 people predicting.  When the "Hide All States" is checked, there are only 6 people!

So, the vast majority of the people that predict using the Prediction Page use the All States post.

And that is why I am asking for the other option. I want to see the stats of the people that are not using the all states. I want to see if their stats are any better than the others that use all states. That way I don't have to go from state to state to get the info I want. It would be easier to do if they are all in one central location like the top predictors page now. If we don't change the current setup, why would people be so opposed to the added option?

I know you work hard at your numbers.  I am sorry if I offended you.  I just have my own opinion............I am very hardheaded.  Keep up the good work.

sandy i'm really not offended and like i told bryan, i like the idea of the separate stats for individual state predictors. it would be a great feature if it can be implimented.

you're entilted to your opinion, and i respect that...!

and by the way,  thank you..!

So far today, if you lived in one of these states and you played the 24 numbers that Fast Eddie posted, you wouldn't give a darn that he was posting All States!!!

just thought i'd throw in that maddog is an excellent all states predictor. and i have technically made more money playing like that. i remember one day Nbey6 told me to play 850 because it would fall straight within 3 draws, fell that night and i won. reguardless maddog has proved himself greatly when he posts for single states (like ohio) it seems he is just as accurate. if you do watch his numbers they do hit quite a bit more than random picks would, and the triple he picks for the month has always come out.......

i think the stat option is a good idea though.

I believe life is about finding someone you cant live without

And showing them how much you care every day of every month of every year

And this is from yesterday's winners list posted now. And Dead_Aim only used 10 picks per post, not 24 like fasteddie (who I compare to often, btw) and they were state and drawing specific. This is the type of info I am looking for and if Todd sees fit we will be able to find it all on one page.

Justin, no one is questioning Maddog's prediction rate. I'm just looking for the stats of people who concentrate more on single or few states. That's all. I've said, all I really have to say on the matter and if you feel it is a good idea I hope you vote accordingly, if you don't, I hope you vote likewise. I'm going to put this to rest and let the numbers speak for themselves and then ask Todd to take a look at the over all results. And do what he feels is best. This is his baby we are talking about anyway.

I don't normally play in any of the states that Dash won in yesterday.  I would have lost, but maybe Dash is doing very well in one or two states (I didn't check) and one could play in those states.

I know we are beating a dead horse to death.  That is not my intent, I was just trying to show that there are some people that can predict for all states and do very well.
