Yes, it got off to a slow start since no one wanted to buy tickets after it failed to reach $45 million for the thousandth time in a row.
$96 million is not $120 million...but it is what it is.
You would think that would sell more tickets. Atleast you should feel like you have a chance of winning, I'm in a Mega Millions state and it's getting to the point where you would think it was rigged that no one would win a under 100 million jackpot. I would play more often if I was in a powerball state, atleast you would feel like you could win a smaller jackpot.

Yeah, Mega Millions sales are slowing a bit, but it's still higher than the Powerball sales at that particular jackpot level.
As someone once said, players of Powerball and Mega Millions don't want lots of winners; they want high jackpots.

$111 million for Saturday. I think this could be a record run. (Ok maybe not but I can't complain about $111 million).
How are you going to win if you don't play?

You never know. The jackpot could make it to $340 million this run (if it does it probably won't go any higher because of the match 5 bonus pool). We just need it to roll six or seven more times.

The dead will walk and aliens (outerspace ones not the illegal kind) will run amok long before powerball hits 340 the way it is now. $200 million maybe.
