Just please don't let it be a 100 year old lady who has no family but cats that lives in a trailer and still wants to keep her job. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some times I think GOD or the power that be tease people with the lotto and allows for stupid people to win thus trying to teach the rest of us about Money and Greed is the root of all evil but control is what retains that evil.

          we'll see what happens,

          Tell me what you think?

Well I saw something very stupid today.  I was inline to pay for gas at BP and someone was buying $300 worth of powerball tickets.  I hope they took a pool or something because that's just too much in my opinion for one person.

Maybe that person makes $300,000 a year and for them $300 a few times a year is just a little fun on the side?  Or maybe they make $25,000/yr and need that money to pay the electric bill.  Lol, ya never know!

OH I have a story for you.

Last year when the lottery started there was only one cashier and someone bought a book of $1 scratch offs.  They brought in all those winners.  (Don't know how many total).  They didn't scratch off the bottom numbers or anything and I had to wait 45 min to pay for my gas.  I wanted to shoot someone.  Now I try to pay at the pump as much as possible.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

I've been in stores that will not accept a verbal request for lottery tickets unless it's QP's.  They require buyers with custom orders to fill out cards to avoid having to cancel and reenter their requests.  In Ohio, once a MegaMillions ticket is printed it can't be canceled, some one has to buy it.

Same thing in TN.  You can only cancel a ticket if it's a cash 3 or cash 4.  Some retailers here will fill out the slip for you if you have trouble with it.  Mostly older people have trouble filling the slips out.

I was at a retailer about two weeks ago and someone had filled a play slip out in red and it wouldn't go through.  The cashier didn't know why and the customer didn't know why so I finally had to explain to them it only works with black or blue ink or pencil.  The lady who was buying the tickets ask me to fill them out for her so I did and she bought me $5 worth of powerball tickets for it.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

                              That was nice of her.

In any CT retailer I've visited they don't have the Pick 3 or 4 playslips out.  That would be much easier, if I could find a stash and then not have to recite my numbers and chance the clerk screwing them up.
