I like the search options and some of the wheels..the price is very reasonable..as many hits as some have gotten just a fraction of that will pay for membership for at least 6 months.

If you know your number is going to hit, have patience and then KILL IT!

You never know when you will get another hit.

I enjoyed my platium membership and it was worth every penny of it.

If I wasn't able to have my spreadsheet do the things that my platium membership  could do--I would be lost.

I have to say that it is a MUST HAVE for making money in the lottery games.

You can't fault me for spending money on lottery tix instead of upgrading my membership.

I don't want to pressure anyone into upgrading their membership.  If you feel that the site gives you either the help and/or enjoyment commensurate with the price of upgrading, then that's great.  If not, that's totally your choice.

Some people just feel that anything they do on the Internet should be totally free, and I respect that.

The one thing I would not do is to draw a comparison between buying lottery tickets and upgrading a Lottery Post membership, since they are not even close in terms of their cost.

The price of upgrading your membership is more like the cost of buying a newspaper or a piece of gum in a gum ball machine.

For example. buying an annual Platinum membership (the highest and most expensive membership level) would be about 19 cents per day.  I don't think there are ANY lottery games offered by the New York Lottery (or any of the surrounding states) which cost 19 cents for a ticket.

I don't suppose it's a matter of faulting you, CO.  But you've shown yourself to be a trivia aficianado in many of your posts.  You've also expressed your admiration for the NY Lotto so thoroughly and repeatedly, I really am amazed you aren't using the LP facilities to further those interests.

For instance,  NY Lotto, in 12 consecutive draws in 2003, did an impersonator routine on the last four consecutive MM and PB draws:

        NY Lotto
        " Oct 18, 2003" 18 33 35 46 51 59 23
        " Oct 15, 2003" 24 29 42 43 47 53 59
        " Oct 11, 2003" 15 24 29 34 39 54 3
        " Oct 8, 2003" 7 11 13 26 34 39 37
        " Oct 4, 2003" 7 9 26 29 50 55 2
        " Oct 1, 2003" 23 25 31 38 43 44 52
        " Sep 27, 2003" 3 10 12 38 57 58 55
        " Sep 24, 2003" 10 14 18 30 33 55 54
        " Sep 20, 2003" 8 16 17 25 40 54 1
        " Sep 17, 2003" 6 10 20 30 43 46 39
        " Sep 13, 2003" 7 11 14 21 40 48 3
        " Sep 10, 2003" 4 22 25 53 54 58 14

        PB 7/30/2005 8 14 35 38 46 34
        MM 7/29/2005 4 16 23 25 40 22
        PB 7/27/2005 1 4 10 13 29 3
        MM 7/26/2005 1 10 18 29 55 8

Every number that hit on MM and PB during the last four (two PB, two MM) is also found in those twelve successive draws on NY Lotto in September/October, 2003.

Now, maybe that isn't useful information.  Maybe it won't help anyone win the next MM, PB, or NY Lotto draw.  But imagine the satisfaction in knowing it.  Imagine how it would expand the substance of your posts.

The only way I know of, the only easy way, anyway, a person can find and compile that sort of data is through a Platinum Membership on LP.

Sure.  It says nothing about annuities and cash.  Says nothing about payouts.  Says nothing about the future politicians in NY.  But it is good, solid trivia, any way you cut it.

Might even prove useful in lottery related matters for you.

For the purposes of usefulness I probably should have mentioned, those MMPB draw numbers could have been compressed into only seven consecutive NY Lotto draws if you're willing to lose 34, and 35.  Those two were communists, flyers, who held out for larger jackpots.

          NY Lotto
          " Oct 1, 2003" 23 25 31 38 43 44 52
          " Sep 27, 2003" 3 10 12 38 57 58 55
          " Sep 24, 2003" 10 14 18 30 33 55 54
          " Sep 20, 2003" 8 16 17 25 40 54 1
          " Sep 17, 2003" 6 10 20 30 43 46 39
          " Sep 13, 2003" 7 11 14 21 40 48 3
          " Sep 10, 2003" 4 22 25 53 54 58 14

          PB 7/30/2005 8 14 35 38 46 34
          MM 7/29/2005 4 16 23 25 40 22
          PB 7/27/2005 1 4 10 13 29 3
          MM 7/26/2005 1 10 18 29 55 8

35 is well known as a poor, greedy, under-educated number and a suspected insurrectionist.  34 isn't a lot better..... dresses up as 43 a lot and prances around trying to fool the unsuspecting.

            CO:

I've mulled over your post(s) a bit more since I made the last one.  Seems to me you're giving NY Lotto, as well as Platinum Memberships a short shrift, thereby robbing yourself of a wealth of information you could twist around to further whatever your goals are.  (I haven't a clue)

I'd be awfully sorry to see NY Lotto not exist.  I'd also be awfully sorry not to have a Platinum Membership, so's to allow me to know why I'd be sorry to see NY  Lotto not exist.  But, I'd be delighted to see you with a Platinum Membership, so's to see where you'd go with what  you learned, once you had one.

Did you happen to notice that NY Lotto draws between November 22, 2003, and January 3, 2004, contained all the numbers that hit on the most recent draws for NM Roadrunner, Texas Lotto, California SL, KS SL, Lotto South, as well as the two most recent draws for MM and PB?  (Every number, save one, that hit most recently on all those, plus a lot of other lotteries)

I'd like to see you sink your teeth into this kind of information and really run with it.  I think your posts would be longer than your current average.

              rip:

              1) I'm NOT knocking the LP memberships. It's just that I'm perfectly happy with basic, as opposed to Gold or Platinum.

              2) But I _am_ continuing my rants against NY Lotto and the NY Lottery.

That's all right by me, CO.  I took you off my block post list, briefly, to read this one.

                Rant on, amigo.

                (Todd:

I'm wondering if it would be a lot of trouble to tweak the block feather so's to allow a person not to be notified by email when a person who's blocked makes a post on a 'notify by email' thread.  I hate to be taken off the notification list by not logging on to the thread, but my in box gets a lot of exercise with notifications that don't interest me from CO.  I'd still like to be notified of posts to the thread without having to come just to read one of his.

                Just a suggestion.)

To all on LP. I for one so far enjoy everything about the site and I will be a Plainum member sometime after the 3rd of next month (that's when I can send the money in). I do think that the membership will be money well spent. Dance

I enjoy something to post when I'm a standard member. It's definately out of my price as a gold and standard member. Besides, I don't have the money to afford it and rather worry about education and cell phone first.
