Well I guess annonom didn't have much to say after this.  Kinda raises a flag whether or not it was true or not.  You would have thought he or she would have answered the questions and defended his accusations.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

The flag was already up.  If you allow it to influence whether you buy TN scratchers, the person succeeded with the purpose of the thread.  If you don't, he/she didn't.  Maybe the person did you a favor if it's truth.  Probably didn't hurt you much if it was fiction.

I'd say this was a major event in the life of the person who began the thread, if the story is true, but fairly insignificant in the lives of everyone else.  Just one more bug on the windshield.

              Shawnintennessee:

The residents of every State I've ever lived in believed their own State Governments were the Daddy Longlegs of corruption.  But I'd bet the worst of them would appear a paragon of virtue compared to the cleanest, most well-lighted tribal government.  The US Constitution ceases to have any meaning at the Rez boundaries.

And the most corrupt tribal government probably can't compete with the cleanest state government in Mexico.

We're fairly lucky, for all that.  Haven't yet gotten to the point of believing Baksheesh is the way things ought to be, instead of something that ought to be prosecuted.

Well I thought about it and I have to say I'm not going to stop buying them.  I love to play the instant games because they are fun.  I just hope this wasn't true and let it rest until proven.  I see no hard evidence that the TN lottery is messing with the games.  I mean we have ball drawings for crying out loud.

If you like it you probably win at it occasionally.  That's cool.

For some reason this thread reminds me of something shrill a Brit secretary of something or other said during the Watergate fiasco.  "Those Yanks think they've got problems with Watergate..... But we've got SEX in high places!"

I covered a lot of ground over there looking for a high place.  Never found one.

until these allegations are a proven fact i've chosen to ignore it....
