I predict (dare I say with 100% absolute certainty) that if I played 219 boxed numbers out of a combination of 220, I would still have the wrong number.

Sir Metro

Well at least someone has their head on straight.  Trying to make more out of buying a lotto ticket than the simple act of asking for a quick pick is fruitless.  On the other hand, if you enjoy entertaining yourself trying to pick some winning numbers- enjoy.

I play to dream and dream of winning a major jackpot!

Speaking of schools, has there been a poll on the level of education attained for those playing the lottery?

Playing the lotto is a no brainer and doesn't require any level of education other than being able to ask for a quick pick.

    Depends.

If a person's into the fortune cookie routine it might save a lot of money to have a bachelors in home economics, so's you could cook up your own fortune cookies without running the risk of scorching the slip inside.

Never can tell in this life when a degree's going to come in handy.  That's the whole justification for lotteries..... helping people to get degrees so they can make their own fortune cookies.

I bought a guick pick 3 number every day for the midday drawing for two years running and give it to the lady that punches in my numbers for me. Amount won so far nada zip zilch. On the other hand i pick my own numbers and hit 20, 30, 40 times a year or more with my own picks

Takes a bit of practice to get good with QPs.  Since you're over at the library you could brush up your skills by walking over to the card catalog, drawing a random card, and going back into the stacks to see if the book is checked out.

You spend a few days doing that, next thing you know you'll be a ball of fire with those QPs.

I think that you can significantly reduce the odds by keeping a close eye on combinations & pairs that have come.

There are only 1000 ways that the 3 digit number can appear so you may not predict the order in which the number will hit but you certainly can predict the combination.

There is such a thing, good folk, as Divine Intuition.  I firmly believe that if you tap into it long enough and hard enough, eventually, winning numbers can be seen, perceived, felt, intuited, KNOWN before they play.  I've come really, really  close this way.  Particularly with the pick 4 and pick 5.  I've just been one number off(pick 4) and two or three numbers off (pick5).  I EXPECT that one day soon a HIT is bound to happen!

                    peace.

What I said in an earlier post about people making their own fortune cookies is rolling down the time-line.  Scrub those pots and pans.

                      3. Rolling your own Sushi
One of the most popular eating styles of today is Sushi.
Interestingly enough it is amazingly healthy, raw fish being filled
with the Omega 3 oils that stop aging, and keeps you slim.
I found a good site which will tell you exactly how to
roll your own Sushi. I notice he has a problem with Salmon, which I
have not experienced in Cape Town where we get lovely fresh Salmon,
but the site is full of lovely detail and recipes. Well worth a visit. Free

You can get a head start on things through innovation..... put your homespun fortunes into Sushi!  Works best with pick 3s and pick 4s.
