I prefer Lottery because it's cheaper too play and closer to get too,no Casinos in walking distance around here, and I doubt very seriously people go into Casinos with just $1.00 to play like you can in the Lottery

I like gambling period. However both games favor the house. When in a casino if you get on a lucky streak and draw attention to yourself because you are winning the employees start scrutinizing your methods to see if you are cheating. If you continuously win in casinos they think your doing something to beat the odds. Want to kick you out because you are winning. Casinos don't like paying out their money even though the money they earn was given to them by people trying to beat the odds. I'd get really nervous if at the 21 table or craps table if i started winning big bucks to have some cooler muscle in on my thunder and try and get me to stop playing or pull me out of the game for a talking too. Like just because your good at counting cards they want to pull you out of the game. After all isn't the idea to go there to win. Casinos don't like that one bit.
I've been cheated, by the house, at the BJ tables, in both Reno & Vegas because I was winning and, I'm far from a professional player. I've even had them refuse to pay out slot winning twice. Now really, playing slots require no skills. They claimed the machines malfunctioned. Those people can get pretty nasty when you start to win their money! I'm talking about winnings in the $200 -$400 range. As a result, I simply don't go to casinos any more.
I play to dream and dream of winning a major jackpot!

That's why I prefer Lottery because they can't stop you from playing if you WIN too much!!!

I prefer casion gambling - but the closest real casion (one with table games) is almost 3 hours away in Atlantic City. Too far to go on a regular basis. So I go once in a while and play Mega Millions and Powerball the rest of the time. At the casion I like Blackjack the most. If you play basic stradegy you can make your money last a good while most of the time, and there is the possibility of walking away a winner.
Good luck and have a Disney Day ºoº

if the lottery had some skimpy dressed women serving me free drinks while I'm filling in my pick 3 numbers then maybe I'd choose lottery over casino.

pick 3 lottery. i've been to the casino here maybe 4 times in my life. the machines are all rigged when to payout. it's being in the right place at the right time scenario. a couple years ago the government brought a no smoking policy to all bars and casinos. of course, lots of people quit going. they have the vlt's in the bars also. they changed all the machines, brought new ones in and they suck big time. i don't think they payout as much. coincidence?? no smoking= less people= less profits. so lets get machines that pay less. i quit playing the 6 number lotto as soon as it went to 2 bucks. they used to have a "plus" number you could play for a buck on your lotto ticket. i was winning at least 50$ a month, which isn't great. when they changed the lotto to 2$, they took away the plus and put on the" extra". can't win diddly on that so i barely play that either. now that i'm online, my pick 3 playing here has dwindled. i find it so much easier and cheaper to play online. i hit 3 150$ payouts today. i like chasing the due digit. i start playing it when it hits 11 or 12 draws. it never goes over 20 draws unless it's a midday/eve double. i find it's so easy to keep your account rising playing this way. i also know the patterns a bit, so i can hit straights also.
