No, there would be no need to do that.  A Jackpot Winners life will already be complicated enough, there is no need to frustrate myself.

I agree.

it is in my opinion more prudent to remain private, it is too easy for some to take unfair advantage

I scan all my scratch ticket winners >$20.  I like to brag about my wins.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

There's nothing better than looking at a winning ticket. It funny when you look at a losing ticket, it's like who cares. But looking at a winning ticket is a thing of beauty. Smiley

It really doesn't matter if you post it or not.  Your name is going to be released...they always find out and if you post a copy there might be some wack jobs that will try to use it to claim the prize...but remember you need to have a REAL ticket to claim a prize.

I would only post a winning ticket after I turned it in to the lottery headquarters.

I voted for yes because you need to have a photo copy of the front and back of your ticket and the copy of the claim form. The main copy of winning ticket and claim form is sent to CA SLP headquarters or retaliers and it has to be postmarked.

I 'd likely post a jkpt tic pic  ...and I'd also make myself a new avatar of the photo Hurray!

... the lottery never fails to surprise!
