The Mega Millions lottery set a new 12 roll record of $170 million for the Feb 21 draw. The previous record was $165 million.

The Powerball 12 roll record is $137.6 million.

Good luck,
Jake

I hope MM Jackpot continues to set new records and finally shatter the North American record set by PB at 365 million. The reason MM Jackpot set a new record Jake649 because it grew more than expected because of brisk sales and the California impact at 100+ million.

It might have gotten that boost once it was the bigest prize in CA.

The reason I don't see a 'Megamillions set a new record' thread around for long is it keeps getting hit. Good for those getting ticktets now, not so good for those waiting for any record jackpots or even pots close to Powerball's record. The good news is that you get far more cash with Mega.

Despite the desire to see another record hit, I'd really be plum tickled with collecting the winnings this time around. Sorta hitting a cycle of bad luck and sure could use this boost of hope.  I'm slightly jade with hearing stories of these first time players who win after going to their local 7-11 to pick up a loaf of bread and milk or fill their tanks up.

The Mega Millions lottery set a new 13 roll record of $203 million for the Feb 24 draw. The previous record was $192 million.

The Powerball 13 roll record is $157.4 million.

Jake649, MM Jackpot was raised from 170 to 175 million in the previous draw due to strong CA sales again. Therefore, if MM sets a new 12 roll record, they have to beat 175 million. The record for roll 14 is 225 million in terms of new version Jake649. However, I hope it reaches 240 million.

The Powerball 13 roll record is $157.4 million.

Sales are really taking off. Maybe the news about the Powerball winners is increasing sales. This could be a record run if it survives a few drawings.

Could easily go 215, 260, 330, 430. Even just two rolls should easily break the previous high mark for Mega.

If MM rolls two more times, I will go out on a limb and say it will break the "North American Jackpot record" of $365 million (i usually look at cash value so for me its not a record) set by PB.

Since sales are picking up (especially in CA) it will roll from $215 to $275. And then to $370 million (intially it will be less than $370 million but will be re-estimated to $370 mil)

Most likely I will be proved wrong.

The Mega Millions lottery set a new 14 roll record of $256 million for the Feb 28 draw.  The previous Mega Millions record was $239 million and it was set under the old matrix.

To show how quickly large jackpots are growing, under the Big Game matrix, the 14 roll record was $90 million.

The Powerball 14 roll record is $183.1 million.

                    Good luck,
                    Jake

Jake649, MM Jackpot was reseted back to 12 million for Friday. Congratulations to Ohio for winning the jackpot. With these sales, I hope MM gets their momentum to get new jackpot records.

I think the only record Mega is pushing for is how long it takes to hit a record. Considering the odds there should have been a much higher jackpot by now but there hasn't been. Euromillions has 100 million less combinations and it shattered all records. I have a feeling the Euromillions run is a rare event though. With Megamillions I'm shocked it has only broke 300 million once since it was created. The odds before the matrix change were very high, now the odds are 1:175 million and I'm still waiting for the 400 million pot they were talking about when WA state joined.

The Mega Millions lottery set a new 1 roll record of $18 million for the March 7 draw.  The previous Mega Millions record was $16 million.

The Powerball 1 roll record is $20 million and is the current preset minimum jackpot level.

                            Good luck,

MM momentum showed a new record Jake649. Most MM players thought that MM would roll in the last draw. That's why they buy tickets in anticipation of current draw.
