Well I'll admit I don't know a lot about making movies of any type, or documentaries, but I do know that if people are paid to appear in a movie (that's called acting) they just may be being paid to say what they say.

Slingblade isn't an old movie!  I liked it however.

    Best movies:

    Shawshank Redemption

    Unforgiven

    The Green Mile

    Anything With Johnny Depp

I agree with DD about all the fuss made over George Clooney. He's a very handsome man, but even George seemed to be a little embarrassed.  Jon Stewart was a boring host too. Let's face it, award shows are very boring.  I'll remember everyone here at my news conference when I win the lottery.

.....and I'd like to thank Chewie for his outspoken posts, Clairvoyant for her predictions, Todd for running the website and all the members like DoubleDown, MyLollipop, Coin Toss and..oh, dear...I hope I'm not forgetting anyone. Thank you to my family and friends for putting up with me. And to my drycleaner, my hairdresser and the person at the drive-thru at Taco Bell for always asking if I want hot or mild sauce. I couldn't have done it without all of you.

Actor? Steve McQueen or Charlton Heston, very close matches, very hard to tell which.

Let us not forget about James Arness and Vic Morrow

anything with johnny depp is good the last few years like blow, fear and loathing in las vegas, donnie brasco, etc. one of my favorites now but when he first come out he did a lot of teen movies but thankfully he got out of that.

            JXP, Nice acceptance speech !!

            Thanks for the props !

I totally agree except for the Johnny Depp part, but your a female and that's quite understandable.

For me, it's Charlize Theron Naughty

Mayhaps the movie and album buffs could start a thread about movies and albums.....or is is an intentional hijack?

Your list is a good list.

When the studio's dies, the acting profession died with them.  No one to train them and nuture them into becoming what they portray. Spencer Tracey; no one close to him in todays world.  Myrna Loy; pure enjoyment to watch.  Edward G. Robinson; didn't need special effects or customes to entertain you hour after hour.  African Queen; two people making the theater a place you couldn't stay away from!  Abbott & Costello or Laurel & Hardy; hours of humor without a single cuss word or single shooting. Boris Karloff; scare you with a look, never having to chop up hundred of people with an axe and leather mask!

The younger generation can only hope Disney keeps up the animations, the acting is gone.

                          Cheers

well, if they don't make a documentary about how addicted people are to the lottery, they are missing a hell of a chance. And they couldn't have come to a better place.

But personally, I would prefer no one knew how much of a sport I consider it except my family, cause frankly, it's just pathetic.

Shocked and yet here I am.... still at it. Tracking numbers like it's my next meal.
