I am congratulating Tntea on her winning $250,000 prediction, not how much $ she put in her bank account from it.

As far as I know it is the single highest winning prediction for $1 at LP.

She now shows a 10% profit in all games lifetime at LP.

That's the bottom line.

Her win has also piqued my interest in Keno, never having played the game before. I posted some picks for tonights Atlantic Keno and for anyone interested, no, I'm not betting on them I'm just predicting them.

Posted 4/6:  IL Pick 3 midday and evening until they hit:  555, 347 (str8).

I'm pretty sure you cant buy tickets for Atlantic keno unless you live in Canada.

click on predictions.... then predictions home page then click tntea name then click view predictions do you or anyone you know have enough money to play all those numbers for all those states.... Not......

posting numbers on the prediction board and winning just up's your prediction stats.

    four4me,

what difference would it make if she did, or she did'nt? The whole point here is "That she Predicted" the win, not whether she made money.

The thread was made to congratulate, not to put down. If you were'nt going to at least say something posistive, why then would you say something negative. I don't see you burning up the prediction pages.

This win should put tntea among the top predictors on the board.  Congratulations.

Again, congratulations, TNTea on your prediction , but it's not worth boo unless you made money on it. Without making money on it, the prediction was just keystrokes on a keyboard...

Not trying to be negative, just trying to define the difference between the two.

To me, there are $250,000 reasons that there is a HUGE differerence between the two.

I don't predict, but I do play and there is a difference between these two as well.

                    DoubleDown,

I know what you're saying but the idea of the prediction board is similar to online poker games where you are not playing with real money. You are testing your methods and wits with hundreds of other players and with no loss of real money to anyone. It's practice for the real thing...with an accounting of your results.

If someone got a Royal Flush in one of those games would you say their win didn't count because it wasn't real money?

Having a win on the Prediction board can be almost as big of a boost to one's ego as when actually pocketing from a true lottery win.

I have, many times lost in my States lottery and felt down about it, especially when I did something stupid like dropped a number and it comes out. But when I go to the "See yesterday's winners" section and see that I have posted some good wins, it makes me feel better. That is another thing that is so great about being a member on this site.

You could be down, but something on this site will always make you feel better. LOTS OF LUCK.

Of course, we haven't seen tntea at all today...so perhaps she is celebrating the way many of us would like to...with a quarter-million extra green friends in her pocket!

I'm not trying to be negative either and think it's great to see a winning prediction, so I want to say "Congrats" and "Good Job" to TnTea.  But I have to agree with DD here. Maybe I just don't get it. I have a friend who plays online poker, but doesn't use real money. She told me she's so far ahead she should have 6 figures in the bank. So I asked her once if she'd really bet the kind of money she's playing and she answered "of course not."  It's so easy for me to yell "No Deal" at the television set, but it's not my money.  Like DD, I'd want to see the money, but I understand the satisfaction of getting a prediction right too, although I'd be banging my head against the wall if I didn't play the actual numbers and didn't collect on the bet.

My answer to that is what did they win ?

I know all of the predictors on the board will say that it is a win, and the players like myself will ask what did the person actually win so in essence we will agree to disagree and that's cool.

I just don't count it as a win unless I can take it to the bank. If I go to the store and tell the cashier that I predicted the GA pick 3 last nite( 948 ) and she owes me $500.00 , she will most likely ask for the ticket in order to pay me, or did I miss something ?
