Hi all, you're all very welcome,

there already is a new version LOL

in this new version you can choose to either count straight, per position like now, or let it count all positions (box, after which you get a ranking)
Just input or paste the numbers, press "count", and then choose, from the 2 options i've added under the upper yellow box, if you want straight or box (you can switch between them, the counting has been done so that won't change anything)

click any of the images from the previous post, or just click here

Ok, foolish question...is there a limit to how many numbers is output?

My calculations indicate that with 4 rows by 3 columns, I should have 64 numbers, not 50. Where is the other 14? Below is the Base Matrix

    533
    607
    161
    058

This is the 64 resulting Numbers

        stupid me!!!

i forgot something, so now there's even a newer version! (sorry everyone)

If you download this newest version you will be able to paste multi lines in the upper yellow textbox.
The version before this would cut of every line except the first....
Now you will be able to paste anything in there, and not to worry about anything, because it will only count digits, no other characters.

        cheers

Paurth, next wild idea I have, I am gonna beg you to write the software. This program is really nice.

Did a VERY SHORT test with the following info

Evening Number (actual was -> 513)
            224 148 903 033 111 575 792 597 639 225 736 693 286 363 286 529 635 634 379

            Midday Number (actual was -> 160 )
            001 438 899 590 909 544 381 265 240 377 542 539 463 940 427 848 420 772 807

            Following numbers were created:
            539, 537, 531, 538, 509, 507, 501, 508, 579, 577,
            571, 578, 559, 557, 551, 558, 639, 637, 631, 638,
            609, 607, 601, 608, 679, 677, 671, 678, 659, 657,
            651, 658, 739, 737, 731, 738, 709, 707, 701, 708,
            779, 777, 771, 778, 759, 757, 751, 758, 139, 137

            ---------------------

            The selection sets I used (which is also same as my spreadsheet) is ALL 3 TOP (HOT), ALL 3 BOTTOM (COLD) and Skip 3 from top and bottom (2 in center across). This works much like my spreadsheet. Now just wish there was fewer numbers to sort thru, but hey, 50 numbers is better then 80 or 220. Below is the results when I incorporate 531 & 106 into the list;

            533, 537, 531, 538, 503, 507, 501, 508, 563, 567,
            561, 568, 553, 557, 551, 558, 633, 637, 631, 638,
            603, 607, 601, 608, 663, 667, 661, 668, 653, 657,
            651, 658, 133, 137, 131, 138, 103, 107, 101, 108,
            163, 167, 161, 168, 153, 157, 151, 158, 033, 037,

            Good Luck to all

BTW...this is only good for GA Cash 3 Evening & Midday

            Hi SirMetro,

what is it exactly that you would want me to do?

Do you have a program for pick 4 that does that?

I love trips in pick 4.. would like to back test it to see which would be best to use.. as in hot/cold/hot.. and ect..

I can write programs that run in Windows or Pocket PC. If you can give me a very specific procedure i.e. what is the definition for you of a "hot" or "cold" number..etc.. then if I have time I can write something (not a spreadsheet, a program).

When you're saying there are say, 50 numbers, are those all straight plays? Because if those are Box then you could pick 50 random numbers with a similar result.

The program that I use generates only a few numbers, which I call my "primaries". Only one number is really coming out, right? Not 50.

Can anyone (if this hasn't been done) write a computer program where you can list the last 10, 20,or 30 draws that will take each position and show the amount of hits of each?

For example.. the out put would be something like...

                          Position one..  Hot 3, 4,5  Cold:  6, 7

                          Position two.. Hot 3, 6, 4  Cold:  9,0

                          Position three.. Hot: 7,6  Cold 1, 0 , 3

and then have it to make combos using the hot vs cold..

If this has been done, please let me know where to find the link..

                          thanks..

Excel could do first part for you easily (COUNTIF function); you'd just have to set the threshold as to how "hot" or "cold" a number is.  I'm not sure if it can actually print out all combos of the numbers detected to be "hot" or "cold," though.  I'll check it out.
