If you could write a program that takes the output of Duke - 36 picks...

and reads the first two digits of each pick, the last two digits of each pick and the first and last digits of each pick.

When it finds pair matches from that step, it will eliminate one of those pairs and generate a pick 4 number using the other pair and the leftover digits from both picks...

ABC - EFG - HIJ - DBA - JGF - KLM - JFH

would produce DABC, IHJF, GJHF

and yes, all possible types of picks would be created. singles, doubles, dbl-dbl, trips, and quads.

I think that's the basic concept.

That is it Steve..

How many combos do that give you..

Hard to tell since the combos being used are repeated.. Example..

726 - 668 - 676 - 867 - 766
672 - 268 - 666 - 667

226 - 168 - 176 - 367 - 266
172 - 768 - 166 - 167

776 - 618 - 626 - 817 - 716
622 - 218 - 616 - 617

721 - 663 - 671 - 862 - 761
677 - 263 - 661 - 662

after deflation you are back at 18 numbers..

176(167,716,617,671,761)

Tier 3
676(766,667) 266(626,662) 166(616,661)

Tier 2
726(672) 867(768) 268(862) 226(622) 168(618) 172(721) 776(677)

Tier 1
668 666 367 817 218 663 263

Had I hooked these together.. I would have played the 6766 last night..

If a program could be written to combine these combos.. MONEY can be made..

TN eve, 6766 = shortsum 5
Shortsum 5 was out for 119 draws!!! (all time record in pick4)

Been playing this shortsum for 5 draws, but missed that triple yesterday... it was the first time in TN that a triple followed a triple.

Anyway, sum 15 is still out, 120 draws, with an average skip of 19.77 draws. So expect shortsum 5 to come back soon.

Well, like i wrote, shortsum 5 did come back with 6522 yesterday evening...
It skipped only one draw, cleaning up sum 15!

I hope someone nailed it.

Ricky, TNTEA,

I do not get the shortsum method for 6766 or 6522.  How do arrive at the number of shortsum 5? 6+7=13+6=18+6=24  or 6+5=11+2=13+2=15. Am I doing something wrong?  Please explain in detail.  I think 6522 was the result of shortsum 15 correct?

Thanks,

Also If I remember correctly you are posting your Pick 3 Duke picks and then letting them ride for 5 days before you make a new selection for them. You enter the previous mid/eve pick 4 draw of that state into Duke for your new picks for that state for the next 5 days correct?

I believe short sum means  the last digit here which would be 5..

Hi SMB1988,

I do not get the shortsum method for 6766 or 6522.  How do arrive at the number of shortsum 5? 6+7=13+6=18+6=24  or 6+5=11+2=13+2=15. Am I doing something wrong?  Please explain in detail.  I think 6522 was the result of shortsum 15 correct?"

6766 --> 6 + 7 + 6 + 6  = 25 --> the shortsum is 5 (the last significant digit, some people call it i believe)
6522 --> 6 + 5 + 2 + 2 = 15 --> shortsum 5

25 and 15 is the sume of the number.
Now, for the root, you would add up the digits in the sum: 25 --> 2 +5 = 7
15 --> 1 + 5 = 6

These are filtering methods. (Lantern is Da Man for filtering, his creativity for finding new filtering methods seems to be endless)

Now, anything in pick3 and pick4 (i have tested this over and over and over again) i consider "missing" when it has a skip that reaches 7 to 8 times the value of its average skip.
I rarely play those anymore. (Califdude learned me some valuable lessons, and he didn't have to do anything for that, i just read his posts and i still consult his picks in the prediction-board each day)
But, when something reaches a skip of 10 times the value of its average skip, it might be time to jump in on it.
Not so very long ago in TX eve, the frontpair 47 did not hit for 1000 draws. This only happened twice before, nationwide. 17 draws later it came in. Those are gifts! (playing the online payouts, one should play 47X for 90 draws, \$900, and then it would be disaster lol.
For shortsums however, i've learned the hard way when one was missing badly in IL. It stayed away far longer than i ever expected, and that is when i started searching for extremely high shortsum-skips. Highest one i found was, i believe, 118 draws in Pick3 and 107 in pick4.
This one in TN was out 119 draws.

In pick3 there are 22 boxed numbers per shortsum, and in pick4 there are 70 boxed numbers per shortsum (well, shortsum 5 has 70 i guess)
The free wheeling engines will ease things up to know all this. (one will then also see that shortsum 5 has no double-doubles in pick4)

Talk later, i'm off again, watching second period of Brazil - France (0-1, whoohoo, go France!!!!!!!)
