Where do you go? What is your favorite casino? Any luck? I love reading "Casino Player" magazine about all the casinos around the country. Just curious to hear which ones you folks find the "loosest" casinos compared to how they rate them.

Thanks!

When I was living in MA I would go to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.  I pretty much stay with slots and never won anything big.  Other friends I went with did Roulette and did really well.  Several months ago I went on a day gambling cruise on the Palm Beach Princess and people were winning big all around me while I broke even.  Went again in October and lost $400.00.  Won't be going back there too soon...LOL!!!

    Good Luck!

I can get to atlantic city in about 3 hours in a car.  Used to go there a lot and play blackjack, mostly at Resorts.  While I wasn't entirely able to learn card counting, I did okay using basic strategy.  Visually I find the showboat casino the most appealing.  These days I been trying my luck with limit hold'em at showboat.  A few month ago when I was there, a guy on the next table to us, won a 'bad beat' jackpot of over $60,000.  Things like that never happen to me.  Most I ever won was on a, joker poker, video poker machine when I hit a 5 of kind for over $2000.

delS--Is the Grand Sierra a new casino? Last time I was in Reno (which has been about 4 or 5 years now) I never heard of that one.

This was my second time in Reno in 2 months.  It use to be a Hilton Hotel.  I don't know its age.  It is one of the largest Casino's I have ever been in in my life.

I too love Casino Player Magazine. I go to Grand Victoria here in IL. Slots are tight but I like to play Roulette anyway. I have had the most luck playing $1.00 3 coin max MegaBucks slots at Ho Chunk casino in Wisconsin when I go on vacation. You need a nice bankroll but have won about 5 hand pays of $1,000 or more and I only go there twice a year and those winnings have made vacationing fun. Good Luck to you.

Sorry Im delayed in responding to when this original post started.

1: Philadelphia Park ( poor slot selections-seem to be recons from the days of yore.Penny slots are actually playable and fun to break even on)

2: delaware park. Getting harder to break even. Been there twice since Dec. Both times they got my money.

3: Midway. So so selection-action is on the dollar machines...

4: Each year I do Vegas, and break even if not ahead. Vegas is THE PLACE to find the lastest action on machines and to play the tables. Nothing compares! I prefer what is called the local casinos as they pay out better then the corporate run on the strip. My brother lives there so its easy to get his imput on where to game!

5: Ive stayed out of Atlantic City since May of last year. Rarely is it worth the gas and turnpike fees to loss even more money.

6: Looking forward to the Philadelphia Harrahs . Think I might head there next month to get some winnings!

Just wanted to update : Went to Harrahs, in Chester PA. Has horse track and slots. Slots are very tight.Had the most fun on a penny slot game. Played for over an hour on five dollars and walked away with 35$ . Spent 4 or so hours there, most I witnessed won was a 2k payout from a dollar slot. No major high payouts. Most are geared towards 600.00$ grand wins on nickel slots. Overall though I must say, it was one of the safer casinos. The staff was gracious and mindfull if machines had problems. And it was free parking! For any first timers, park on the fourth tier, The casino floor is located there. The race track floor is number three.

                              Best to ya in gaming!
