It's on CNN now: The Associated Press reports that Ohio Lottery spokeswoman Mardele Cohen says two winning Mega Millions tickets have been sold, one in Georgia and the other in New Jersey.

Thats cool. Good for them. I'll just be sick if it was the office pool at my job that I found out about after it closed. One pool had 58 people, and the other had around 30. If they won, they will get around $1.2 mill each after taxes for the bigger pool and about twice that for the smaller pool.
Oh man i'll be hot if it was the pool at my job.

Guys I wouldn't post it if I wasn't certain. When someone wins they put 12 millions right away, not the amount of next jackpot. I understand we all want someone to win but there was no winner, so maybe next time. Lets get some patience until Friday.
You were saying???
How are you going to win if you don't play?

I'm a retailer in NJ and my printout from 11:36 pm says that someone here had all 5 numbers and the mega ball number and selected the cash option for 221 million. I hope it was my store, my odds are 1 in roughly 6,000 (total number of retailers in the state).
Thank you. I was going to post before bed and thank you for scanning the winning numbers slip you printed, especially when people were questioning its authenticity. Yes, one person in NJ won.
To other members: We all question someone's integrity when he/she posts on the board. However, it's also a way of discouraging new people from coming here and offering helpful information. Now that the news is out, we can all see that there was one winner in NJ. There were so many people eagerly waiting to see the winning numbers that many of the systems got jammed up (excuse my non-techie term) so that's why the official results weren't announced. At least 2 people have won (NJ & GA) maybe more, but probably not. The different states just want to be extra careful.
Congrats to the winners.
