what was your most exciting lottery moment?  winning a bunch on a pick 4 ticket?  getting 5 out of 6?    almost hitting a powerball jackpot?

I bought a scratcher worth 9 grand. i was pretty excited all the way up to the point where i found out they were going to take the taxes out right then and there when i went to claim the ticket. My excitement dwindled some at that point as 9 grand turned into about 6 grand mind you it was still a good pay day but i thought scratcher wins were tax free. I guessed wrong.

A friend a work won 500 grand on a scratcher a year after i did i was pretty excited for him. Mostly i was curious as to how long it would take for him to spend all the money he got after taxes. I'd say it took about 3 months.

I was going to say what Double Down did,"still waiting", but he beat me to it!  LOL

Won $457 with a 4 out of 5 in CA Fantasy 5. Big whoop. I was excited for about 5 minutes. At least it was tax free.

Still waiting.  I'll be happy if I win a free ticket this week.  All jokes aside, when I win anything I get excited, even $5.

I once won $85 in the lottery but the most excited I ever got recently was when I got all the answers on "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"

5 of 6 in California Lotto in 1987. For a brief moment I thought I had them all.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

The only time I ever spent 100 bucks on the lottery I matched 2 numbers and was off by one on the other 3 in MM.  I never spent that much on lottery again.  Now I doon't go over 10 bucks.
