I agree with Rjoh, and lottobrain, somewhat on this one

I've been looking at our states, pick 5 lately..... It goes to 39, It absolutly loves the high 30's at the end,

but if you look close enough it kinda favors the teens in the middle.and of course it has to have single digits at the begining (for some reason it shys away from the 20's somewhat)

Your kinda-of on the right track codmaster with your groups

But sometimes..... just step back and look at it, and mabey ask yourself questions,

like: how come I didn't see that coming?

what did it do last time it did that? and the draw after?

The point is..... just look at it... see what it's doing,...

what it likes,  dont worry about numbers too much,  they're there

The positional charts as presented by johnph is a great beginning tool. It helps establish what your boundry conditions should be when setting up programming loops.

The concept of postional placement goes much further however. It can be applied to occurrences, last time picked, and almost all other filtering criteria you might want to use.

An example would be an occurrence distribution after 3 games for pick 5. When surveyed over approximately 100 games, you can start profiling a filter a a boundry condition for the next pick.

    2000114
    300002

Positional frequency and and other postional analysis isn't a silver bullet. But, it is a great tool if you look at different ways to use it.

You are a slave to the choices you have made.  jk
