Pumpi was just asking on another thread if they sold lottery tickets in grocery stores. Well, here in CA. they do, as I'm sure in most other places. I've seen them in drugstores, gas stations, liquor stores, convienience stores, malls and bowling alleys. I suppose the strangest place that sold tickets was in a pancake house restaurant I went to. Felt funny ordering a ticket with my side of bacon.

Anyone else??

But if you won you could take home the bacon!  LOL

I can't think of any strange places.  Just liked your comment, so I posted.  I buy my tickets at the supermarket and sometimes I go to 7-11.   Just thought of something, since you are mentioning strange places. A local gas station that is very busy has a PayChex or similar type service.  It is also a place where people can pay some of their utility bills.  A few feet away from where people cash their paychecks or get advances on them is a lottery terminal.

I was gonna say that i once bought tickets at a seafood market, but that story would have sounded too fishy to be believable.

A long, long time ago I used to buy my tickets from a shoe repair store.

The guy that owned the store told me that he had won 10,000 playing pick 3 that year.

              True or False, Who knows.

So you basically had an inner drive to win big...life in the fast lane....Make you want to lose your mind...

It was a white line lottery fever...

It was an uphill struggle, but you bet on making it to the top....
