love2005...it says 'your mad because you did not win'......what do you expect a 35 million dollar jackpot to just fall in your lap? you think its just simple that you hope really hard and then you get millions of dollars? this cold, hard world don't operate like that.if it did we would all have mansions and drive BMW'S and everyone would be drinking and dancing in the streets.you made a wrong turn, this ain't utopia.
we can have these things without a lottery win. A lottery win speeds up things alot. But point is that if you set goals and work towards things whilst waiting for a lottery win and don't get crazy with buying tickets you can achive those things just the same.
remember buying 2 tickets only makes your PB odds 2 in 80000000 not 1 in 40000000...... you buy 15 PB ticks and its 15 in 800000000 and so on.
Buy your couple ticks a week and leave it at that. you have just as much chance of winnings as spending 400 on ticks a week.
Most I have ever spent on a lottery draw was 50 bucks and that was stupid. Long story and hard to explain but here goes.
I was tired and I had always played the same two sets of numbers every draw. So when I bought the ticks I had 1 number off then went back down to the store to get the right numbers on that other line just in case.
I told the clerk what had happened and was just gonna buy another ticket with the correct numbers and this guy was there and said he would buy the ticket with the wrong numbers that also had a line of right numbers.... I didn't understand what he was saying to the clerk cos I was really tired. By the time I realized what had happened the guy was already gone.
So I spent 10 on quick picks 40 bucks on the same set of numbers just in case my set of numbers came up that I had been playing that the guy wouldn't get the benefit of my numbers. It was stupid. But if I didn't and those numbers had come up I would have kicked myself forever.
So yeah that was my stupidest lottery play ever. Most likely one of the studiest lottery plays of anyone on here, cept maybe people playing with money that needed to go elsewhere.
Now if I make a mistake I don't even tell the clerk I made a mistake and just play the right numbers as if I was buying a new ticket.
Other than with my family I don't even talk about the lottery to anyone besides in here anymore as well.
I don't say anything to co-workers, people in line when buying tickets, to friends or anyone.
It's a matter of remaining positive about winning a huge jackpot. Since most of you are playing in another part of the world than I am we aren't vying for the same jackpot like people in my area would be like co-workers and neighbours.
I think it would be great if 20 or 30 people on this forum all won huge jackpots.
I want to win and am gonna win but I want others to win as well and some of you are gonna win. More than that when you win I want you to prosper and hold onto the cash.
