More inept clerks at 7-11.
Earlier today I went into a 7-11 to get my free QP from a Fantasy five game win from last night's draw and handed the ticket, along with my betslips. He came back after a long period of time and said that because of the heavy clouds and downpour, the terminal was not responding.
I took my ticket and my betslip. A few hours later, on my way home, I stopped in at the liquor store to get my free QP, and the girl told me that the ticket was already run through the machine. If the terminal was not responding, how the heck did the ticket get processed at the first store?
With my luck, that QP was the jackpot winner.
On the good side of things, I asked the girl to give me a QP just to make up for the loss at the other store, only to find out she gave me a Lotto ticket for tomorrow, Wednesday's draw, not a Fantasy five QP. I kept it anyway, saying maybe this was mean't to be...lol
Two clerks, back to back, messing things up. I guess their minds are on other things, and not paying attention to detail.
