Please correct me If I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that anywhere from 3 to 7 thousand people play 1-2-3-4-5-6 on just about every JP game out there. I forget, but that info was from a good source.

I know the lottery officials won't say anything, but someone with access to resources with a conscience should find an inexpensive way to reach these people and tell them about the split if they win.

This could possibly be a good marketing niche...maybe not.

The headline of the advertisement could read something like this..." I've got a secret that could save you hundreds a year playing the lottery". Just send 5 bucks to the following address....lol

I'm not too sure that those type of sets you mentioned are played as much like the 123456 type.

Most of the people I know that actually play and think that way are not exactly the brightest people. One of the basic foundations for their justification of playing that combination is 'It could happen'. Well, the same can be said for the millions of other combinations that can be played. Due to the limited level of their critical thinking skills, this is the best they can come up with.

I say, "let 'em." It helps inflate the jackpot. Even if this is not the only combination that seems to defy logical reasoning, "let 'em." The old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." can be said another way regarding these kinds of people, "You can lead an idiot to knowledge, but you can't make it think."

It's funny that so many people here keep calling everyone else idiots but they're still searching for the magic combination or they wouldn't be posting on a lottery board trying to figure it all out.

Gail Howard once said you should avoid lottery combinations with birthday numbers because a lot of people play those numbers and if you ever won the jackpot it would be likely won by other players too.

And yet thousands of players have seen such combinations drawn and either no one or only one player won the jackpot of $50M or more and they thought "I wouldn't have mind splitting that size jackpot".

I would like nothing better than to share a jackpot, any jackpot.    50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.  Right now I am winning 100% of nothing.
