People here sometimes boast about their systems, others predict winners and brag when they get a couple of numbers and a few seem to be lost in space.

So is there a Lottery personality or ego that separates us from the rest of the world?

Unfortunately, I think the average lottery player thinks "life sucks, then you die". Me on the other hand, well that's another story. No question in my mind, I will win a jackpot.

I think of it as a passion. To someone who can safely predict with minimal error they SHOULD have an ego.To "schmeggies"like myself who've  had a monetary glimmers of hope(by this sites standards) from handicapping,I fall into the "lottery personality" category...hope to upgrade status to egomaniac within a year here from info being passed around!!.   lolBig Smile

I don't do the numbers thing like everyone else here, and I don't pretend to understand them.

That said, my ex got my ego along with his "happiness", his employee-girlfriend-wife, and their illegitimate 4 year old that was born 2 years before he even asked for the divorce. (yes, I am harboring a wee bit of bitterness)

                                                                                                                        Thinking of...

However, I do have the power of positive thinking, as long as I'm not thinking of my ex.  Let It All Out  I think that is part of my 'lottery personality'.

As a matter of fact and despite not winning a piece of the Michigan Millionaire Raffle, I just won $100 on an instant loose ticket so now I can go with my ex's cousins and aunt to the aunt's birthday casino day!

        Party

See, that is the power of positive thinking....I think....

In a way, I wish I could just post my whole system on here just to PROVE to people the edge that is possible for you to have when playing the lottery, but at the same time, I don't want all my hard work to go down the drain either. I've put 4 years into my system and it's been a long road and I know there's still more to come. One of these days, I WILL hit the jackpot. When I first started my system, I was just able to come up with methods that only had a small improvement of my odds. Then one night about 2 years ago, I came across something that I thank God every single day for. It was something that took my system ahead in leaps and bounds. I promise I will win a jackpot.

If I had a system, which I don't,I wouldn't post it here for others to take advantage of,either.I'm depending on good luck, which I've always seemed to have,to bring home a jackpot.

On occasion I do play quick picks if it's getting close to the cut off time and I know I don't have the time to go home and get some numbers from my program. Even though I would prefer that my jackpot win come from my system, I'll take it either way really. Even if I win with my system, I know there was still some luck involved, but had I not used my system, I probably wouldn't have won. After all, if you're lucky enough to win the lottery, you're pretty damn lucky considering the fact they're are millions of possible combinations that can come up.

I don't think I'm going to expose my system in it's entirety to the public, however, once I do have my first jackpot win under my belt, I do plan on converting it to use for other games' matrices. I'll start posting numbers for those games, and that will definitely be the time for others who can play that game to play those numbers because they might miss out on a pretty big win if they don't. Of course, I'll have to debate which of the lucky members here will have my system converted for a game in their state first. Again, I won't post the actual system, but I will generate numbers from it and post the numbers. My program right now is over 7000 lines of code, so trust me, whichever state I make my system for next will be a pretty lucky state. That's later though. Right now, it's my turn to win.Razz

All the options were clever, I went with the average shmegeggie trying to win.

I will say thought that in any form of gambling, whether it's lotteries, casinos, or illegal bookies, they are just as much in the ego business as the gambling and entertainment business, and are very aware of that.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Of course there is lottery ego, as well as the super lottery ego, and the Id.  When I hit,  my Id gets happy then my ego takes over.  We discuss Freud regularly.

I don't believe I have an huge ego (although, I like to think I will win a jackpot one of these days, so maybe I have a slight ego.) I just think I'm just a regular person whose trying to win a jackpot.

And can we say no numbers are better than any others until they hit a jackpot?

Winning a couple of jackpots within a year or two will PROVE to others that your system gives you an edge more than posting it could ever prove.  Besides, when you post a system many expect you to support it by answering all their questions about it.  If it's a programs then you're probably going to be making changes in it to improve it and you're not going to want to be posting every change as it happens.

Many LP members have posted their systems and none have ever worked for others as well the authors claimed they worked for them.
