  I still say cash only please.  Like you said, there are no gaurantees in life, anything can happen 25 or 30 years down the road.    Like I said in a previous post, I can just see it now  "Due to the recent changes in.......  All Lottery annuities have been temporarily suspended until further notice.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."   This is just like our government to pull something like that ten years into an annuity.
