I don't know if there is a cap on how big the powerball can get. BUT with the addition of Florida, the powerball is going to grow faster and bigger.  We all said what we would do with a million dollar win but what if.........a billion could be won.

Let's just say it will get to a billion dollars, what would your reaction be if it got there or even if the pot was so big? Would your lottery playing increase until someone won or what?

Billion dollar...would love to see that. It will go down in history both for the lotto game itself and the lucky winner(s). It will be hard to keep privacy then. I would play $10 per play top. There will be people spending thousands to get a shot at a billion I am sure. :)

It's too bad that you can't pick more than one option on the poll.  I would be somewhat scared, I would definately move to another country and I would do my best to stay AWAY from the cameras of the news crews.

A Billion dollars...wow that causes you to get weak in the knees just thinking about what you could do with all that cash (cash option only for me)

i can see the powerball jackpot getting as high as $375 million to $400 million... anything around or over $415 million shouldn't last too long...

the odds are approximately 1 in 200 million,  so a pool trust or anyone wealthy could simply buy all 200 million chances, and possibly win 400 million or split it with someone and win the 200 back.

I would love for it to get as big as it can get, albeit a scary thought of winning that amount of money.  Nuts would be even worse.

I don't think that will ever happen because back in the nineties after an European investment group won the Virgina lottery by trying to buy all 12 million combinations and controlling 3 lottery terminals for three days, states changed their rules so it was unlikely to ever happen again.  I doubt if anyone or group could play 200 millions specific lines in four days.

I agree. There is no way that 200 million combinations could be printed out in three or four days.
