How would you re-create these 2 groups the fastest way ?

Sounds like the LP deflate version is the only one that can do it quickly Jap69 .

Thanks ..... and I hope this helps more folks to realize the power they can create in tracking with this sort of 50/50 group and quickly.

We just can't have too many 50/50 filters.

The only real failure .....is the failure to try.

Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.

Odds never change .....but probability does.

Thank you johnph77.  The significance was intended  to be on the question itself .....and ..... if one could  recreate the 2 groups already there. They were already broken down into their only possible groups..... i.e. doubles, trips, and singles.  It also ask the reader how they would approach recreating those 2 specific groups in the question.

Perhaps.... I should have left out the 5 digits all together ......and just started with the 10 pairs only.  This way ....it would have forced the reader to stay on point ......and deal with the pairs in attempting to recreate the groups that were already there ....and already dissected .

Because the recreation can't be done using just the 5 digits alone...... they must be used to form the 10 pairs first ......and only then is it possible to recreate those 2 groups shown.

.....the 5 digits were just there to show how the 10 pairs were formed.  The focus had to be on the 10 pairs rather than the 5 digits .....otherwise the groups couldn't have been recreated. At least those 2 groups shown anyway.

johnph77 .....allow me to say ..... I always enjoy seeing your post and the visualizations you've presented over the years.....and I always appreciate your input... even though I'm pretty sure P-3 isn't your favorite game. So...thanks again.

That explains that, at least to me. Based on what we've posted, particularly with regard to the pairs within each alpha groups, there has to be 500 3-digit possibilities utilizing any two or three numbers from each alpha group. And that is true no matter what five single-digit integers comprise an alpha group. As long as there no doubles within that alpha group, there cannot be any number of 3-digit possibilities other than 500.

When I could not find any tool to do this, I created an Excel model to genretare these groups. My results for 14589 are:

I checked and these match those as presented by WinD. The Doubles and Triples were easy. The Singles however involved eliminating duplicates. Any 5 number groupings can be easily generated. They are in descending order to eliminate the troublesome leading zeros in Excel comparisons.

I've created the Excel file that does this. Any two five number groups can be entered. Excel output is in text form, allowing for leading zeroes in the output. PM me with Excel version and Email address if interested in a copy.
