Good luck everyone on tonights numbers. :)

Double digit 9 tonight! Hope someone was closer than I was.  Roll Eyes

Looks like digit 9 hit on a skip of 3. Now that I'm looking at it, that was an overdue skip:

                        # of times 9 hit on a skip of 3 in the last 39 games: 1 time
                        # of times 9 hit on a skip of 3 in the last 78 games: 1 time
                        # of times 9 hit on a skip of 3 in the last 156 games: 8 times

Greetings Master of Str8s. Just wondering if when you work on your skips if you manually input the info yourself or do you own software that does it for you??. Do you use Excel??. I was just thinking that updating and keeping up with all the skips and all the digits involved, and its a lot of work. Its like a full time job but it does pay off on the long/short term. I guess once you get the hang of it it becomes routine. I was also thinking that you have to update the skips on every draw and if one keeps skips for midday/evening that would mean double work. I've gotten a headache just thinking about it. Msmusic said that one has to treat it as a job and she is right on the money. The reason I am asking you all these questions is because I was thinking of keeping skips for the TX. Pick 4 game. How many draws would you recommend I start on the skips for the pick 4???. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. AL. What?

Hey AL, I used to count it up and put the skips into Excel manually for Texas Cash 5 until I got frustrated with updating all the time. It does take time but you can use multiple IF and OFFSET formulas to automatically count skips, all I do is insert a full row, type the winning 3 numbers in columns A, B and C and drag up (auto-fill) the formulas from Column D to whatever. Some of my worksheets have 200+ columns, such as ones to count the skips of digit pairs in exact position (i.e. number 6-X-5 which would be 6 in the first column paired with 5 in the third column).

Those skips can go as high as 500 games between hits. The median skip for any digit pairs in exact position is 70 games. One time digit 4 in the first column and digit 7 in the middle column skipped 1,017 games before hitting together again! Guess what happened after that? It hit on the following skips: 179, 85, 13, 3, 8, and 25. In other words it hit 4 times within 50 games (two months). Playing a 4-7-X with all 10 other digits only has to hit once in 50 games to break-even ($10 x 50 plays = $500). Unfortunately it's hard to guess within 50 games when an exact pair may hit so I don't use that strategy alone.

Keeping skips for both games isn't extra work once you have the formulas in place. I could help you throw together a simple digit skip chart for pick 4. How much data you need depends on how you want to analyze. For Pick 3 you only need about 60 to 90 games to see patterns of individual digits hitting in any position. Exact position hits require at least a year of data to see patterns. I looked a little at Daily 4 Night and noticed the front pair 1-3-X-X was a top hitting pair for awhile and could be due to hit again soon.

Thanks txpolo, I do believe you are right on with those numbers. Let's all get a good win tonight. How about 007, 002, 027, 127, 057. We might get a dbl again, it's hard to say. What about 557, 559, 887

Good luck everyone on tonights numbers. :)

I like the 2-2 and 8-8 digit pairs, they both just came off large skips. 5-5 just hit six times in a row below its median skip of 27 so I'm not so sure about that one.

                            2-2 Pair skips: Currently out 14, Previous skips: 1, 196, 24, 57, 26, 7, 20, 40, 17, 37, 5, 7, 7, 3, 11
                            5-5 Pair skips: Currently out 6, Previous skips: 12, 5, 27, 11, 1, 16, 205, 85, 2, 23, 34, 38, 71, 87, 98
                            8-8 Pair skips: Currently out 9, Previous skips: 5, 210, 27, 5, 16, 22, 33, 13, 11, 1, 52, 15, 5, 5, 28

2-2 pair and 8-8 pair for Pick 3 Night looking pretty good!
