I am not sure how it would work...and it would never happen...

I want to see a game with a Billion dollar prize each draw...lesser prizes of one million, five hundred thousand, two hundred and fifty thousand...etc.

THRUST, you are on to something Interesting, Maybe all the Lottery States could get together and do a

Once a Year Lottery Draw of One Billion Dollars  for 6 out of 6

$10,000,000  (Ten Million)      for 5 out 6  with the bonus ball

$3,000,000    (Three Million)   for 5 out of 6

$1,000,000   (One Million)       for 4 out of 6 with the bonos ball

$10,000 for   (Ten Thousand)  for 4out 6

$50.00       (Fifty dollars )        for 3 out of 6

$2.00   (Two dollars and  one free ticket for the next year Draw) for 2 0ut 6

It could work, they would make money! If no one wins the Billion Imagine the revenue they would split among all the Participating States!  And they could add 10 million every year that no ones win!

forget what "they" say about youWhat you say about you?...

Now, does it count??

And use the interest it would earn (if the jackpot rolls over) to pay off the national debt.

Hey guys, just a thought...if you were able to design and create your own lottery game, how would you design it (cost per ticket? number of balls per ticket, total number of balls? bonus balls? payout scheme? etc) and what would you name it?

The state lotteries keep 50% in almost every lottery game so it's not reasonable to offer or ask for winner-take-all or winner-take-most type games. However they could add more side bets with the same keep at least in their pick-3 and pick-4 games. Why not offer a sum bet, one position digit bet, two two position digits bet, and any one or two digits in any position?

Throw in even/odd or high/low too. Most of us had consecutive days where our box was one number short; give us a bet where we get something back. Even just a replay is better than throwing away tickets.

The pick-4 could have front 3, back three, etc.

i feel keno should cost: 25 cents...If they are going to have keno it should cost 25 cents...If i do create keno it would cost: 25 cents or 20 cents...

Something i will do just for fun just to see if there are any human who is blessed by God it will be more of a research thing....But i would create a: keno where you match: 10 numbers + 2 bonus ball: 1-20....And to win you must match all 12 numbers, i might give it to kids or teenagers is more to see how far the human mind can get...There will be more of research than lotto games....It will be just like keno....And it will have like a: $20 million reward...it will be for teenagers only for whoever tenager feels like engaging or for people who are coky...i´ll let it play every 3 hours or every 6 hours or every hour i dont know...Is more like a riddle...And i will have every numbered connected to other numbers in the form of: fractals....please dont think i am mean is more or a research game than a lottery...i´ll make it free i dont see why i should charge for it...

i would create other easy games but those 2 will be more for my personal research and leave it there forever, just to see the strength of the human mind...

Casinos have offered 10 cent keno wagers for years but very few players take advantage of it.

"And to win you must match all 12 numbers, i might give it to kids or teenagers is more to see how far the human mind can get...There will be more of research than lotto games."

Aw, I see you're still clinging to the theory a mathematical equation can predict to the outcome of a large number of ping pong balls being mixed in a container. If you really want to corrupt our youngsters, why not suggest a game of skill and have "poker 101" taught in the elementary schools?

Stack47, great Idea!!! and I would still go with THRUST Billion dollar game once a year!, with the pay off we came up with.   I seriously like this Once a year game with all the lottery states Participating!   It would generate Billions in revenue for The States...their greedy little hands will still take more than 50% But some one in america can dream of becoming a billionier!!!   I Like the Idea! I love it, Come on THRUST it can be done, with  a little refining here and there but doable, Everything is possible!

                    Some more side bets:

First ball out, odd or even, even money or you have to lay $1.50 to win $1.00

Last ball out, odd or even, even money or you have to lay $1.50 to win $1.00 (the house has to have an edge)

First and last ball odd or even pays like a "two team parlay" :

                    OO EE OE EO

                    Another side bet:

                    Proponderence of odd or even:

For a Pick 5 game any bet

For a Pick 6 game, if it's 3 and 3 all bets lose

                    Another side bet:

For a Pick 5 or Pick 6, the middle of the matrix is picked and a proposition bet is available for all over or under that number. If it's mixed, all bets lose. For games with an odd number of numbers in the matrix, you have to bet more on the "favorite" for the same payoff.

And Pumpi, this one's for you:

If the same number is drawn twice in the same drawing it pays $1,000,000,000, if you have bet on that happening.

                    Lep

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                    Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
