Thought this would be interesting. Most losing tickets I have had in a row from a single roll is 10 - it was on $2 1,000 a Week for Life, on numbers #140 through #149.

I have had 6 losers in a row, I do believe. It could be more, but I did not record 100% of my ticket purchases perfectly, when I first started playing. It was on $2 Jumbo Bucks Classic. Some folks say that it is a good game, but I don't think that I have won more than $15 on it, and I usually lose.

Last Christmas we had a game called : IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" I'd get 3 at a time and of course they were losers.

Did you exchange a walk on part in the war ?

All the scratch off's seem not to have anything on them. I know I've bought @ least 10 of the new Florida Lottery "Black" & haven't won anything! What a waste of money.

One time I bought $30 worth of $1 scratch-its and had only $5 worth of winning tickets and they were all $1 winners.  So I do not play scratch-its very much.-weshar75

This one guy from TN claims to have bought a whole roll of jumbo bucks (150 tickets) and had

                  1 winner for a ticket.

Customers son came in last week and bought a $300.00 roll for his Dad Christmas present. The very next day the customer sent his $70.00 in winnings to be cashed. That was sad.

I agree. I bought 15-20 of them and won 1 time. Although I did win $100, still kinda lost hope in that game. I doubt Ill play that again. Plus someone already won the Top Prize in my city so my chances are slim.

Theres only 2/5 top prizes left

Matt- I apprecaite your poll, I do think the ratio of ticket price carries itself over to the amount of losers one can expect.

Example: the One dollar scratchers average realisitically one out of 9 tickets ...But in actuality its close to one in 15

two dollar series: average one out 6  realistically one out of 8 ( I myself have gone 12 tickets with ZERo Winnings)

three dollar tickets: average one in 6, realistically one in 8

                          5 dollar tickets- average 1- 5....reality: 1 in 8

ten dollar ticket average 1- 4....reality: 1 in 7 (on a good day).   Went as many as 7 tickets once and not a winner to be had...These were the first ones out of the gate ( 001- 006 ticket number) - So like the crust on bread, I never take from the beginning of the pack nor from the last few left...

Havent had the gall to buy more then one twenty dollar series ticket so Unknown how that would proportion out.

And Yes Pcurtis- I have myself seen a 1$ packet carry one winner...it was for 40$ and how sad that was....talk about getting duds...We buy our packets for promotional events so we get folks often teling us how they faired ....or didnt fair in this case....

                            Interesting poll.

I think the most losers I have had is in the 7-9 range for the $10 and $20 tickets.

For the $2 ones, hmm, it may be higher but I couldnt remember for sure...(probably one of those situations you drop from memory as best you can)

Interesting info, TheGameGrl. Thanks! Shows that spending less with low risk, high reward might be the way to go most often. Was that $1 packet bought in PA? They aren't supposed to go more than 2.5x the odds without a win.
